I am a 25 year old single mom, and teacher in the Mountains of Virginia. I never know how to really talk about myself but I will give it a try: i love: -books -nail polish - crafting ideas -vintage -new blogs -scrapbooking -fabric scraps -buttons -do-dadds - pen pals -anything to craft with -stationary -crazy facts - etsy -recipes -anything to share with my little girl -parenting ideas - openmindness -jewelry -coupons -snail mail -postcards -gardening - music (everything but rap- i love county, indie, southern rock, pop..etc) -mixed cds -popcorn -coffee and -many other things

things i don't love - lotion - generic items (branded-graphic-etc) - stuffiness - judgmental people - pastels - the "country" aesthetic

Okay so those are the general things I can think of... Like I said I am a single mom and that is a new thing for me so I would love to hear advice form other single moms. I am also a high school English teacher and I love my job! On the weekends and in my free time I love to hang out at the lake with my daughter and friends or spend time outside reading or playing with the little bit. I also love my blog and the community it provided me, as well as the opportunities it brought me. I love to garden, and craft. And LOVE new easy craft ideas. I also love taking little leftovers and turning them into something great- so if you have old scraps send them my way!
