Here is the normal intro: My name is Marta, I am 25 and live in San Antonio,Tx. I am originally from Costa Rica, born and raised. My family is quite into arts, my mother has been a seamstress since I can remember, my brother went into screen printing, creating sticker logos, and graphic art, and my sister owns several restaurants as she is married to a chef. My step-brother is a baker and I am pursuing an Art Degree in College. My main interests are sewing crafts, handmade useful items, eco friendly anything, I am all about saving the resources and cooperating to become a greener planet.. Some of my general interests are: Acrylic Painting, Yoga, Japanese food, Japanese Culture and Art, Fashion Design, shoes, colorful markers, felt, organic baby food, baby fashion that looks nothing like baby style such as blah blah handmade toys and products, kawaii, vintage, striking new art, grafitti (I LOVE FAFI), anything handmade, anything knit, anything painted, anything sewn.

i loooove Manu chao, Feist, Regina Spektor, The Slackers, All kind of dancehall reggae, Violent Femmes, Common, Old rock..... the list goes on and on. I am open to experiencing new music all the time, although i must admit i am not very much into electro, dance music...

My favorite book forever is The little prince, I read it the first time in Spanish, my native language, then read it in English not too long ago and the translation is really good. It is a kids book for adults, teaches you all you need to know about being humble and understanding others. I adore that book.

Movies, woah, there are many movies i like, mostly in spanish... Amores Perros, Y tu mama tambien. My favorite american movie is Pretty Woman and i love all movies with Denzel Washington, Sean Penn, and Johnnie Depp, they are such a good actors

I don't get to watch much t.v but i love Bravo channel with all the cooking shows, mostly enjoy watching discovery channel and animal planet, and my guilty pleasure would be those fashion t.v.shows with all the cool fashion and outrageous apartments.

I adore anything handmade, to include, sewing, felt, jewelry, knitting, recipe books, painting, scrap booking. I think those softies toys are awesome and my favorite style is vintage, or pop art ( i know, to the extremes, but that is who I am) anything that looks old and used but in great condition and with character is perfect for me. My apartment is an eclectic mixture of IKEA products and vintage furniture. Right now I am all inot sewing, I am trying hard to start collecting fabrics and cool accesories.
