I'm a 40 something nurse, and a married mother of two teenagers. I'm an animal lover we have 3 cats and 2 dogs.

Hobbies - I love to knit and read. I have a spinning wheel that I don't use nearly enough and a small loom. I've just discovered fountain pens. I'm trying to get in shape and be more healthy so I'm trying to get walking too. After years away I've just started Postcrossing and penpalling(if that's a word!) again. I used to rubber stamp and I've been playing with them lately.

For books I like mysteries, suspense,fantasy themed, current and historical fiction. Not a fan of romances without something else(if that makes sense) no Fifty Shades for me. I love Carl Hiaasen and quirky authors like him and Jodi Picoult.I loved the Harry Potter books and I'm thinking of restarting the Outlander series, I read a number of them years ago.

TV Shows - don't watch a ton, but I love BBC Sherlock and Musketeers. I also enjoy the Big Bang Theory, NCIS, Criminal Minds, and some ridiculous Animal Planet and Nat Geo stuff like North Woods Law. Just started watching the Blacklist. Though I watch most all of these things inconsistently lately.

I love cat, owl and sheep themed things. I also love yarn and notions for knitting(stitch markers, mini scissors, row counters, cute tape measures). I'm a Red Sox fan though not really into other sports.

I love chocolate, caramel and sour gummy candy. I like nuts but not in my chocolate. I'm also a fan of salty and spicy snacks. I have an addiction to Diet Coke.

I also might have a teenage girl crush on Benedict Cumberbatch. And maybe those Musketeer boys too. I don't know why I just do. My children are mortified by it :)

Books I'd like to receive. I'm pretty open but needed to make a list for a swap!

Knitting info - added for swapping I prefer natural fibers to acrylic. Wool and alpaca most often but llama, silk, bamboo, etc are great too. I do like Berocco Vintage for acrylic Colors- purples, blues, greens, grays. Fingering to bulky weight. I like quick projects- hats, mitts, cowls. Socks take me YEARS but I love making shawls from sock yarn. I'm on Ravelry - tinadp there too
