A child of the 80s, I love U2, REM, The Cure, and lots of lesser-known alternative bands and one-almost-hit-wonders. I also like a lot of Canadian rock - Our Lady Peace, The Tragically Hip, Cowboy Junkies.

Last year I discovered Mediaeval Baebes - Renaissance music with a rock vibe. Awesome stuff.

In addition, I like most classic rock, classical, and swing music. Not a country fan, although anything sounds good live.

Fave book of all time is To Kill A Mockingbird, which I've read probably 10+ times. I also love anything and everything by Douglas Adams, Barbara Kingsolver and Ray Bradbury.

Knitting - I love self-striping sock yarn and varigated tone-on-tone colorways with spots of "surprise" colors every so often.

Scrapbooking - starting to feel more like a chore since I am so far behind and it needs so much "stuff" that I can't just leave out all the time. I don't need more scrapbook stuff, I need TIME to scrapbook!

Sewing - I'm starting to get itchy to start quilting - as if I need another hobby.

colors - cool jewel tones like teal, blues, greens, purples; ocean colors. I also like bright pastels like lavender, bright pink, and teal (like Miami colors) with chocolate brown.
