I'm a 31 year old mother of two, an eight year old daughter and a three month old son. I just started law school this year as well, I'm not known for doing things the easy way! I married my husband three years ago, he is a high school English teacher who charmed me with his grammar skills.

I live in Michigan, where I intend to stay for quite some time, mainly because of the big lake. I love to kayak and swim, and my family spends as much time in, on, and around the water as possible. I also scuba dive, but not in Lake Michigan, it's too cold for me!

Ideally, I'd live in Michigan in the summer and Kauai in the winter, but since I don't buy lottery tickets there is not much of a chance of that happening.

I'm a sucker for female vocalists, folksy, bluesy kind of stuff.

Michelle Shocked is my absolute favorite, I was lucky enough to finally see her in concert a few years back.

Oh man, do I have to have one? I'm starting to feel like I'm on a first date.

I really like the movie "The Piano". I liked it so much that I bought the soundtrack to listen to while in labor with my daughter. It was a horrible decision, definitely not music to labor by. She ultimately was born to the "Bladerunner" soundtrack.

My husband also teaches Mass Media, so we watch a lot of crazy stuff.

I love to knit, dabble in crochet, sew, make cards...whatever strikes my fancy honestly. Knitting consumes most of my crafting time though....probably because it can be done while nursing.
