Everyone has the ability to draw...everyone has their OWN style;regardless of experience...the end result is what is beautiful.Remember studying the early caveman drawings? Simple and to the point. Children's drawings can also have a strong impact with simple lines and composition. Response: Hi leilx !:) Have you ever heard of the brownies that are made w/1 box of brownie mix and 1 can of black beans? I believe you either drain the beans and mash-em up a little and add to mix. Bake as directed. It's supposed to be low-cal,high-fiber. I've been trying to get my friend to try it...they're supposed to come our moist n very tasty. Response: Hi aallyy!!! too funny...that your husband "followed instructions"...mine usually doesn"t...I didn't intend to make it hard for you to access...but the more i thought of it, the more it made sense to make it that way so not just "anyone" could have access to it. I would've lined the inside divisions w/self-adhesive felt but I couldn't find any of the good quality type to use so I just painted, sealed and finished the edge w/copper tape. I am glad you liked it , I debated on making it TX themed, I almost did a Triceratops and then a Trilobite...LOL :) I wanted to experiment w/the paper-sack background and it reminded me of a "WANTED" (cowboy time) poster...so I went did TX. I try to stay away from just using "stickers' by themselves like the swaps suggest and it does keep it challenging. Response: Hi RaineyDay! This was one of my "spur-of-the moments-I'm running-out-of-time-brain-storm" ideas. I had another idea but it would have taken more time than I had and once I thumbed thru a $1store dictionary...it "came" to me...and "fell' into place. I have made my pencils before for a teachers gift. I really like how it comes out. I liked that we could use more than one definition.I am glad your daughters liked their goodies. I have a friend who also adopted his daughter from China and I think she will be 3-4yrs this year....she's petite and wants to snack all the time..(good snacks)...she loves to eat just about everything...including veggies. Response: Hi donetta! I REALLY liked the way it turned out too after everything "fell into place"..(no pun intended). There is just "something" about Autumn and its colors...I find them comforting and relaxing.There have been a few ATC's I have designed that were hard to part with and this is one of them. I am sure other swappers feel the same from time to time. But I think that is part of the beauty of a swap...you never know what to expect and then we are pleasantly surprised when someone we don't know shares part of their creative soul.
