Comment: Thank you, Erica, for the super cute postcard of the mini sasquatch. I adore it. Also, totally awesome you got to watch your favourite podcast live. Happy new year!
Comment: I really love the vocabulary postcard swaps 🥰 I don’t imagine that I’ll be able to use this word in my everyday speak, however, I absolutely love your description of second hand book stores 😸 thank you for sharing.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful Christmas tree postcard. I love the description you gave of the boulevard you live near. Sounds quaint and magical.
Comment: Your boulevard sounds magical this time of year. O have to get in my car and drive all over town to see a dozen well decorated homes, it's worth it but it would be nice to be able to walk around the neighborhood. Thanks for sharing and the lovely postcard. Merry Christmas 🎅
Comment: Thanks for the cute trick-or-treating cats postcard! Your Queen of Hearts costume sounds so cute! I remember trick-or-treating in the snow in Michigan. :)
Comment: Thanks for the oranges postcard and sharing about how you are sentimental. I also have some of my grandmother's Christmas ornaments. She would get Hallmark ornaments every year. She divided between her four granddaughters when she moved from her home to a small townhouse. She passed in 2012. But I had the ornaments many years before that.
Comment: Thanks for the Witch Crafts postcard... so cute! A costume parade sounds so fun. I never did that in school. We were not even allowed to wear our costumes. The school where I work allows kids to wear costumes for a $1 donation to Relay for Life.
Comment: This is a fun swap because often a book is recommended that I might otherwise overlook. I don’t read much fantasy although I’ve really enjoyed some movies in that genre. The book you read sounds intriguing so I’ll check it out! :)
Comment: I love Little Woman - but the June Allyson, Elizabeth Taylor, Margaret O'Brian version. Also, I adore any movie with Cary Grant...too hard to pick just one! I have not heard of your third movie... I will have to check it out. Love the answers! Thanks for a great swap 🙂 (love the postcard too)
Comment: Oh wow! We're almost neighbors! I laughed at the responsibility you don't want because I hate doing that too! By the way, I dig the PC! Thank you!
Comment: Oh I love abba! And Beth ditto! I’ll have to check that last song out. I love the pic design too. Very cool art. Yay! A miss fisher fan!! I haven’t seen the spin-off yet but I’ve bought the first season so I’ll get to watching it eventually.
Comment: Thank you for the Bermuda postcard - I wish I was there right now! I am also a fan of a more melancholy/brooding playlist - didn't realize how much so until I struggled finding three upbeat songs for this swap, haha. Happy swapping! :)
Comment: Thank you for the card! I hope your party went well and your contribution was well appreciated. :-) I also hope you're doing well and staying safe!
Comment: Erica,
I had no idea all that art was available, and I had no idea one could make their own postcard on Zazzle.
Both excellent facts to know!

Comment: Thank you for the cute fox pc and your nice message. I have my favorite 'comfort' shows, too. Right now it's Durrels of Corfu. You might like that one too. Take care!
Comment: Thank you for the scenery post card. It sounds like you had a busy holiday weekend. We didn't do much, my husband and I both had Monday off so we enjoyed the long weekend
Comment: Erica, thank you so much for your note, it looks like you've had an amazing weekend. I'm off to Google the exhibition and check it out virtually.
Comment: Thanks for the pretty postcard that you sent! How cool to make your own candles - and the "Fall Rain" scent you chose sounds great to me. :) And I have to say, I love your SwapBot name - owls are my favorite!
Comment: Nice constellation card!! Yoga and a run sounds fun! And found money- that’s good karma in my opinion!I love HGTV also. It calms me. Have you ever had strawberry tea? I discovered it on a trip to France and it’s the best! Warmly,
Jenny
Comment: Oh wow! I don't have any Virgos in my life! 😆 This is a really cool pc though! I can't believe I found another group who likes Too Many Zooz! I saw them when they came out to Portland a few years ago, just as awesome live! Plus you get to see Leo P dance 🤩! I definitely appreciate the music recommend, I will be checking out MEUTE today! Thank you for your thoughtfulness and reading my profile 🪐
Comment: Thank you for the lovely postcard! Great answers too. (I've also had a bat get into the house and yes, it is an ordeal lol!) Stay safe and be well!
Comment: Thanks for the super cute Dande"lion" postcard and for sharing your D answers. I am not much of a dancer, so that I not something I've missed during COVID.
Comment: Thank you for introducing the Ozarks to me. Surely a gorgeous place for hiking and canoeing! I like the postcard and will try to identify the different flowers!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard and your food choice. I am afraid I have to agree with your family...I don't like mushrooms either. i give them to my husband. Stay safe in Chicago.
Comment: I love this card! Thank you so much, I love how it shows all the state flowers. I enjoyed reading your answers and really love how you put a lot of thought into them,
Comment: The PC you sent is so adorable & cute! I love it! We've met up again in a swap! And strangely, it didn't have the postmark stamp on it. I don't know how it made it through the postal service without being stamped. I'm impressed by your small handwriting.
Comment: The PC is super cute! Small, small world - I live in Woodridge and I work in Chicago! I've never seen Easter Parade so I YouTubed the trailer. Gotta love the old classics! I hope things change soon so you can watch it with your mom. Stay healthy and safe!
Comment: I think I'll look the book up!
I'm flying to Chicago on the 24th to see my daughter, husband and their 2 babies.
She lives in Frankfort.
I love Chicago, it's busy but you have the water and such amazing museums!
Comment: Thanks for your well written letter (many are not nearly so interesting) - I'm glad to have a look at your lifestyle which is very different from my own. Enjoy!!
Comment: Thank you! We are going to Grand Rapids this summer to see Journey in concert and now we may check out the museum to see the pic on the postcard. Very cool!
Comment: Ohmigosh what a weekend! Loved all the details ~ so great that you got to see your brother but yikes about the return trip and lamp lugging extravaganza! This would be a great penpal letter to respond to! Thank you so much for writing! ~Michelle in NM
Comment: 🆃🅷🅰🅽🅺 🆈🅾🆄 for the beautiful notecard. I know 𝒆𝒙𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒍𝒚 how you feel and I could not agree with you more. HaHa I am not a fan of public transportation either. I am definitely going to write you back. Please let me know if you are seeking new pen pals. I think we have a lot in common.
Comment: Thank you so much for the Thanksgiving card Erica. We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving and Black Friday in my country to it was refreshing to hear about it from someone who genuinely celebrates it! Our biggest sale day of the year is Singles day on 11/11, similar to China :)
Comment: Love your swap! The facts were super interesting and I like your playlist. Listen to your heart and monkey gone to heaven were actually 2 of my favorite songs growing up!
Comment: Thank you for the card and note - I like to bake for family and friends during the holidays so I'm going to try out the Pepparkakor recipe you sent . Happy Holidays!
Comment: Thank you for the cute card. I really enjoyed reading your note. Most people don't write that much in cards anymore, but I really appreciate it. Happy Thanksgiving!!
Comment: I feel your pain with the snow - I remember always having to get a costume large enough to fit over my winter coat, just in case! Hope your girls night in was a blast!
Comment: Hi Erica, what a cute little notecard, and thank you for the long note, I really enjoyed reading it. Melatonin gummies sound delicious BTW, and your public library sounds impressive! Say hi to your boyfriend he sounds wonderful :) my husband surprises me with blueberry pie sometimes!
Comment: Thank you the cute notecard! Reading about your weekend, now I’m wanting pizza and some tea.. probably not together but this cold weather is definitely pushing me to go get some! Oh and I love the stamp you used. (:
Comment: Sorry for the late rating, but this notecard was great. I really loved reading about all of the awesome things you did over the weekend--especially volunteering with Women Build and the Pop-Up Magazine event (I really want to check out a show on the next tour now). Thanks for sending such a thoughtful and cool swap!
Comment: Thanks for the lovely PC and your note.
This is so funny... I have step-aunts named Erica and Geneva (and Emily) and both names were on the lists of those we were considering for our daughters.
Comment: Thank you for such a lovely note about your Halloween preparations. I am going as a gumball machine (also with some thrifted gear) and will be madly making my costume last minute. Enjoy!
Comment: Thank you for not only the wonderful note cards, but the personal message you sent as well, I am near Detroit, and our fall foliage is in its peak as well. Just beautiful. Enjoy your hike this weekend!
Comment: Thank you Erica for the goodies and the wonderful letter. I am so glad you are time planning, I need to do that! You sound like you have a paln and will soon be on the road to happiness and inspiration! yes, I also like to curl up with a good book in my comfy raggedy clothes. I was not close to my parents, an only child but not much affection or caring words so I kinda understand the standoffish thing. Im 52 and just learning to express love for friends and family..and even strangers. I am married no kids so we lead a quiet life..I dont watch TV but my husband does, Thanks again for the nice letter, I enjoyed reading about you. May you soon find peace and happiness in your endeavor to better yourself!!
Comment: Thank you for this super sweet letter, Erica. Such beautiful stamps and stickers! I like the card you sent but most of all i enjoyed reading about your plans and dreams. I have seen the Black Stallion a few times; it was shot in Sardegna, Italy. And i also enjoy finding great names for all the cats, dog and horses i want to live with :-). Best wishes and keep on writing!

Comment: Thank you so much for your note and extras! I have never been on a roller coaster and I'm much too smart to start now. LOL! My friend went sky diving for her 65th birthday. I plan to celebrate my 65th with both feet on the ground (unless I'm in a recliner, of course)
Have a great day!
Hugs,
Diane
Comment: Thank you so much for the postcard. I love National Parks, I have yet to go there either, but it does sound like a lovely place :) Who wouldn't go for the porkfish 😂
Comment: I envy those that love to be around their family like you, my family puts me on edge with their loud personalities and I want to leave about an hour or so in every time, I know it is a stupid feeling, but I’m glad you get on with your family and siblings way better than me! A big part of my problem could be that I am clinically depressed half of any given year so a lot of people time isn’t the best situation for what my mind says it needs but it is tricking me every time lol
Comment: Love the postcard and it sounds like you got a busy week ahead of you. I actually like the Christmas season because it give me reasons to get out the house. I also enjoy hearing the Christmas music in the stores, although I’m sure the people working in them are pretty much done with that Christmas music. I also like the window browsing would you seen the really neat crafty stuff that comes out the decorations everything about it. People may be crabby but the decoration and the atmosphere with Christmas in the air just puts me in a jolly mood. Have a Merry Christmas.
Comment: Thank you for the note. I have a Gentlemen in Moscow on my reading list as well. Let me how you find it. Update: Thanks for the extras. I love the name Eleanor too. Kinda sad we live on te street though bc it might be weird if I someday want to name a kid or dog that. I'm probably overthinking it. :)
Comment: thank u for the super cute snail mail card. love it. many years ago my late mother in law made my stepdaughter and I homemade poodle skirts with matching scarves. I found saddle shoes to go with mine.
Comment: I loved reading your notecard! I think it's so cool that you cook seasonally, I really want to get into doing that also so reading about your butternut squash mac n cheese is motivating! And your trip to Ireland sounds amaaaazing, I'm so happy you had a great time! Thank you again for sending! ♡
Comment: Thank you for the card. You sound like you have a lot of fun for Christmas. We don’t do much as our family is scattered in different states. But we have fun watching the dogs open presents (sneaking under the tree too).
Comment: Hi Erica
Your note was very newsy & sounded like a fun weekend. Moving house, gatherings with friends, busy times. Hope to hear from you again. I'll enjoy my tea over a swap or note back to you perhaps. Thankyou
Comment: Hi Erica ~ Thank you for the notecard. I am so ready for fall too! We finally got some rain to clear the smokey air and help put out the fires. Suppose to have sunshine back on Friday.
Comment: I got your mail today!! Thank you for the tea. I have been down with a bad cough for the past 3 weeks and the tea you sent me is like the perfect tea blend that would make me feel better. Perfect timing :)
Comment: I wish I could give more than one heart. I love my items!! You definitely went above and beyond. They are exactly my taste. Speaking of taste, I've never tried that tea but I'm excited to.
Comment: Well....half of your PC arrived today. LOL. It had been torn in half and and the half with my address arrived. It was in an PO envie with the "sincere apology for the inadvertently damaged mail". Not sure what you wrote -- something about a first date. Hope it went well. Thank you!
Response: I'm so sorry to hear that!! I've received an item like that once before from USPS, and it was such a disappointment. On a happier note, the date did go well :)
Comment: Hi Erica! Thanks for the fun share about your weekend - you were sure busy! Best wishes on the move and how exciting about your trip to Ireland! It is on my bucket list!! Happy Travels! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for the goodies! I really loved that quote. Very unique and definitely a thinker question. Because I probably would be last on my own list.
Comment: I liked the breakfast picnic idea! Reading the book idea I liked but my husband won't. He just does not enjoy reading. I usually read a book and tell him about it.
I think sometime we will do the breakfast one!
