Description:
I saw this really cool clipboard posted over on Pinterest, and though it would be a really cool idea for a handmade postcard swap. For this swap, you'll make your partner a postcard from various tea associated things: tea boxes, tea bag labels, the little packages tea comes it. Take a bunch of these and collage them together on some good quality card stock. Try to cover up as much space as possible. It's up to you whether you want to send in an envelope or naked, though if you want to send it naked, I would recommend reinforcing it with something like a layer of modge podge. You'll have two weeks to get this done, so you have a chance to get enough materials to make the cards and to actually make them. I'm making this a Type 3 swap, because it does involve making cards for two different partners. Since sending postcards internationally is pretty cheap, I'm making this international. If anyone prefers a US-only version, let me know and I can set one up. This swap is open to everyone, unless you have any unexplained recent 1's or 3's.

I do not have tea bags on the tea I am using right now.

If I can find a way to make two cards, I will join I love this idea.

It doesn't necessarily have to be the tea bags themselves. Does the tea come in an interesting box that you can use? Does it have those little tea labels attached to the bags? If you're having difficulty getting enough for two postcards, you can also get a bit creative with it. Do you drink any bottled tea, like Honest Tea or Snapple? While I would recommend sticking with tea, you could also include other types of tasty hot beverage, like coffee or hot cocoa.
