Fiber Handbag Swap

For this swap, you will make a handbag out of fiber. It can be knitted, felted or crochet. Please make it handbag size and not make-up bag size.

It should fit a wallet, cell phone, car keys and any other incidentals your partner might carry. Ask your partner for their likes and dislikes and also use their profile for suggestions. I'm leaving a lot of time to create something wonderful, so please look at your partner's profile and really work on this. Use their favorite colors, and embellish it--I know they'll love it!

This is the reason I got involved with swap-bot; I met a woman who had a gorgeous handbag, and got it as part of an online swap!!!

Minimum cost of materials should be $20. US only, due to shipping cost.

Minimum rating of 4.5, since this is a time consuming project, newbies please be involved in at least 2 other swaps and send me an email and we can talk (ironic since I am a newbie!!).

Please email your partner if your bag will be late. Also, remember to rate your partner. It's a terrible feeling to put so much into a project and not get rated.

3/21/08--Guys, I have extended the sent-by date for this swap to March 31. I didn't realize Easter was so early this year when I put this swap together, and I noticed most of us have not sent our package (myself included). I hope this helps and doesn't upset the people who have sent their packages.
