Halloween Hello!

This is the 42nd swap I have hosted after counting all my group and private swaps I've hosted since joining in December 2009. I just thought that was cool to figure out.

When I run swaps they are usually international. This swap has three people from the UK, one from Finland, one from Poland and one from Mexico. There was a fair amount of lead time till sign-up ended, and two weeks after till the final mailing date. This should have given folks plenty of time to find their Halloween card and then to read profiles and mail the swap. However, swapping is fun. It is not an I-got-ya moment. So if you do get a partner from a country other than the US and Canada. Please be kind and gentle with your rating due to international postal systems. This is a fun and friendly hobby. this is my first halloween anything. never got any candy or cards for this holiday before. me being a chinese, we dont celebrate this holiday so i do not have the opportunity to play dress up and collect candy.

am really excited for this swap and i hope i get some halloween candy for this. cheers!

Happy Halloween Season! I am new to this. So far I would like some snail pals in the USA only. I look forward to fall and the holidays.I spent alot of them alone and have to go out for my meals.I will be swaping later on and love Fb's for the USA only,so if you have any send them to me?

Are we sending a card for our partners to use or we're sending a card signed by us to our partner?

We are sending a card signed by us and a note in it if possible. It is a card to your partner. If you want to make them another handmade card as the extra surprise that is fine.

Now if you are like me and phobic about writing in a really neat card that you made, that you think your partner might enjoy re-sending. Then you can write your note and greeting on a large post-it and place it in the card. However, you still need to enclose your little surprise. Cheers, LPV

Okay, so I was cleaning up my craft room just now and came across the little letter I wrote for my partner sitting on my desk. Obviously it didn't make it into the card that I sent out yesterday lol I will get it in the mail asap. So if you are my partner, you will be getting 2 pieces of mail from me. My apologies for overlooking that :)

October 16th and 5 unsent swaps out of 89. I sure hope these aren't Flaky Folks. If they do not send their swap and mark sent by the 20th they will be in grave danger of being band in future swaps that I host.
