I have a question. If someone from a group went on to a solo career, like Sting and The Police for example (not who I want to use), can we use both together or do we have to pick one or the other? The person/band I want to use is a little blurry on this front.

I would say yes....it's a little bit tricky with some groups, especially with re-releases of songs. Also, I think that covers that an artist has recorded would be fine, too.

Could someone explain to me how does this BCC work?

BCC is under CC in your email. CC is Carbon Copy which means you're sending the email to the original recipient plus another recipient(s) you want to have a copy of the email. With a CC both recipients can see the email addresses of who received the email. BCC is Blind Carbon Copy which means that you can send the same email to a group of recipients but no one sees the email addresses of the other recipients. BCC ensures that email addresses stay private and people aren't sharing everyone's email address. Hope that helps! :)
