I have decided to jump into ATC's with this swap! (Yep, my partners for this will receive my first efforts with this craft!) I have a simple, very "newbie" question - you say all ATC rules apply for these. Could you please either provide a link to the rules or briefly outline them. I don't want my partner to have anything less than they should and it will certainly include my best effort! Also, how do we sign these? Thanks so much!

@Dancingtree Great! ATC making is a lot of fun!! I am a newbie as well, but here's a basic info. re. ATC, at least as far as I understand...

ATC stands for Artist Trading Cards. They are miniature works of art, 21⁄2 by 31⁄2 inches (64 mm × 89 mm). Some people use playing cards or baseball cards to get the right size.

Cards are produced in various media, including dry media (pencils, pens, markers, etc.), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc.), paper media (in the form of collage, papercuts, etc.), or other random items (charms, metal, plastic, fabric, etc.) "Sticker slapping" seems to be usually forbidden.

They need to have a sturdy card board backing. I usually cut up cereal boxes into the correct size, using good ol' ruler and utility knife.

Write your name, title and date on the back of the card. Some people write their contact info as well.

Best of luck and have fun!
