i have been saving boxes that i think will look great for exactly this type of swap!!!!

The timing of the swap is not good for me, but I love the idea of the swap. I have some saved boxes as well. If you do something like this again, I'd love to sign up.

Is it ok to add embellishments to the box piece or should it be left as is?

nolagirl-some embelishment is fine (far be it from me to stop you being creative!) but the box should be the main item and still visible.

This is great!! I need to clean up my craft room and I have way too many boxes in here. I got started saving them from the the "old box" ATC swap and when you have a little problem with throwing anything that might become useful out, they can accumulate quite quickly. So I am definitely in on this one.

Bad timing for me too. My dd used to send box postcards to her brother all the time. It was pretty funny to get a mac and cheese postcard in the mail. I hope you all add a special message on the addy side!!

Whoo-hoo. Partners are up. Mine are ready to go and this is the 3rd time I checked today. Ya, I know I'm sick.

Half of mine went out the other day and the other half will go out tomoz (i ran out of postcard stamps lol ) have really enjoyed this.

I just dropped my cards off at the post office. This was a really fun deal. I would do it again. I must have misread or something. I thought it said somewhere "mail postcards while naked". Oh well, with some therapy, the postal workers will recover, woo hoo....... (just kidding)

I just sent mine out today! Sorry to wait until the last minute, but I kept dorking out on getting stamps. I have to say, I do love the fruit postcard stamps!
