I love Fall. It is my favorite season, and can you believe it, it is almost over. I want to continue to celebrate fall and I thought an envelope swap would be a good way to do that. Here's the swap: Decorate an envelope, either small letter size, or the longer letter size with some kind of image from a magazine, a calendar or internet image that is of some kind of Fall scene, such as autumn leaves falling from the trees, or a grove of trees in all of Fall's splendid color, etc. Here's the hitch: the envelope must be covered front and back in Fall's splendid art. That is why I have specified a letter envelope, either the short or long for this, or you can make it yourself from scratch. Include in the envelope a flat gift for your partner and short note introducing yourself and a fall wish for them. That's it! Be creative, and make your envelope with love and care and I know your partner will love it.

Can you also create the images on it not just cut and paste? Things like hand drawn art work stamps etc. I love fall too. Thanks

Absolutely! If you are a very creative artist, you can do it that way also. Just remember that both sides must have fall images. Thank you for your inquiry.

Can I get some clarification. We are allowed to use stamps that are of fall things? But we have to have at least one fall image on it from a magazine, internet image or calendar?

Fall Images are not necessarily limited to magazine images, or calendar images. If you can completely cover your envie front and back with fall colors and images, be creative and give it a go.

Just a Note: I try not to restrict artist's creativity too much with a lot of rules. We are adults here and know we must try to create something, when finished, we would love to keep ourselves. A stifled artist makes some ugly art has been my experience.

Please feel free to artisticly interpret my instructions within reason. I have seen something beautiful art done totally with stamps and ink.

@StarryNights yes you can use stamps for the fall things. You donot necessairly have to put an internet, calendar, or magazine image on the envelope. Please fill free to fill your envelope surface with fall images and colour (front and back) with ink and stamps. I am interested to know how everyone interupts their fall envelope.
