Mail Art Note Card

For this swap, you will write a card to one partner. Sender’s choice if you use a note card or greeting card, handmade or store bought. You can hand write or type. Write more than a few sentences, but this is not intended to be a long letter. Keep it to a card (any size), no additional paper. No postcards.

Then, decorate the envelope, keeping in mind your partner’s preferences, if any. Envelope can start out as handmade or store-bought. Use any technique you like to create your mail art – paint, drawing, markers, stamps, tastefully applied stickers, washi, etc. Your choice of technique and theme. Create something unique and interesting!

DO NOT include any flat surprises or tuck-ins. Instead of sending STUFF, focus on sharing something with your partner in your writing and let your creativity shine through on the envelope. Put good effort into both the note and the envie - make it something you'd love to receive. As difficult as it may be to resist, keep in mind that sending a flat surprise violates the requirements of this swap. :)
