Description:

2014 is behind us and we have a wonderful blank slate before us called 2015. This swap is about looking forward, getting motivated and establishing writing and creative goals for the New Year. What is it you want to accomplish over the next 12 months?

Your goals should be SMART -- that's specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely.

Send your two partners a little Happy New Year Gift (flat surprise is fine) and tell them the following in any format you’d like:

  • Your theme for 2015. Give the new year a rallying cry. Your theme could be a motivational quote or statement, i.e. Just do it! or Pursue the Passion! Last year my theme was "Finish!" Yours can be anything that encapsulates your plan for the year.

  • What your Big Audacious Goal is for 2015. This is the big one. That effort that you'll spend much of the year on. Maybe it's writing a novel or getting an agent or revising your NaNo novel or being brave enough to send your story to a critique partner. Whatever it is, tell your partners.

  • 3-5 other writing and/or creative goals you have for the year.

Recap:

Two partners. A little gift. Your theme. Your big goal. 3-5 additional goals.

This can be flat mail. I'm marking it at Type 3 for those who want to get creative in their presentation.

International. Snail mail. Group membership
