SWL ~ Art Journal Pages Part 1, #3

-Swap three: The final mixed media art journal page

This will be the final of exploring textures and you will be asked to combine the previous techniques and materials used from the last two swaps to create a final page to show off what we have learnt. These pages are asking you to use as many materials and mixed media pieces you can by taking the previous swaps into consideration.

First, we will be creating a base on your page, as explained above learnt from swap 1. The base must include a painting or drawing; scribbles, doodles, prints, or an object/person or landscape.

Second, you will use a minimum of 1 mixed media item NON flat/paper and minimum 1 mixed media item flat/paper on each page learnt from swap 2; this time BOTH are required on each page. Then, we will be using the themes below to complete the page.

• Page 1; Ink, rub-on or rubber stamped.

• Page 2; Washi tape, paper tape or stickers.

Requirements - Please see the forum post for full requirements.

• You will be creating both pages but you will only be sending 1 of the pages to your partner. Which page you send is your decision. You may try and make only 1 if you wish but this is a project so please see the forum for full details.

• Page must be no smaller than small postcard size. Any paper or card for your page is welcome. Please do not fold your page in the envelope and include a note for your partner.

• Please rate based on if your partner used the materials, NOT on what your partner has created.

• Any artistic ability and NO artistic ability is required. Everyone is creative here and anyone can do this swap. You are welcome to join in this project at any time.

• Please do your best work and do not send slop.
