Iconic Symbols

Make the subject of your postcard an iconic symbol. By iconic, I mean recognized by most everyone. Star, heart, peace sign, Olympic symbol, M Mouse ears, Pac Man, raindrop, yin/yang, recycle symbol, etc.

It could be layered, silhouette, punched, hand drawn/painted, collaged, sewn... many options! It could have a solid or patterned background, it's up to you.

On the back, be sure to title with the name of your symbol.

The usuals:

• 4"x6" handmade postcard on heavy cardstock (think: about cereal box weight) Larger is ok if that works better for you.

• Any medium, any theme

• Naked mailing - I'd like to keep it inexpensive but if you are afraid to send your particular card on it's own, an envelope is ok.

• 1 partner

• International is ok ($1.15 in us stamps)
