HMPC: Better than a PHOTO - Part 2

Again! It will be better than a photo because it's an altered photo!

Make the entire background a photo then alter it! The photo can be an actual photo, a reproduced photo, a (photo-like) picture from a magazine or a book. Dont forget a backing so it will mail well. You could use scenery that you add things to, a portrait, an animal, buildings....

Alter with pens, paint, cut-outs, inks but make sure the altering is obvious and the original photo is still visible.

*** NOTE*** This is a hand made postcard not digitally altered.

The usuals:

• 4"x6" handmade postcard on heavy cardstock (think: about cereal box weight) Larger is ok if that works better for you.

• Any mediums, any theme

• Naked mailing - I'd like to keep it inexpensive but if you are afraid to send your particular card on it's own, an envelope is ok.
