Blackout Poetry Postcard

Create a postcard for your partner featuring black-out poetry on the picture side. A simple internet search should explain the idea if you've never tried it before. Take a book page and 'black-out' most of the words so that what is left reads like a poem (doesn't have to rhyme!) or just a deep meaningful sentence. It's up to you if it ends up beautiful, creepy or bizarre, silly or sad. Just try to make something that you're proud of and that your partner will have fun receiving. Black-out poems run the gamut from simply crossed out words to elaborate illustrations that cover up the deleted parts.

On the address side of your postcard write a short message to your partner to say hi and explain something about the idea, process or message behind your black-out poem.
