I wear a size 7 shoe and I love pink. Please, no toe socks - I already have enough! Knee socks would be good but I also like crew. Plain, stripes, dots but please, no cute designs (eg hearts, bears, whatever). I also like lilac and blue but please, no argyle, green, brown, orange or yellow unless it's a small accent color. I'm being too picky, I know. But I want to wear them to work! But please, DON'T WORRY!! I will love anything! Especially if I get something. This is my 5th swap and I've only received from 1. Please don't disappoint me!

i wear a 7 or an 8 so normal women's size socks are fine for me. i love wearing novelty socks so feel get me socks with animals, holidays or whatever on it. i just ask no toe socks (the ones that look like gloves for your feet) or those little half socks where they come to the top of your shoes (to put it bluntly i have a scar there and when they come up to that point it always rubs against the area and hurts). but otherwise, i am game for any color, pattern, whatnot....

heavenly bean - i looked online a bunch for womens socks in 12w and couldn't find any. sigh...that's gotta suck. where do you find womens socks that size? i hope you don't mind me asking. i was just wondering. maybe since you are harder size to find, maybe there is someone else in your house that your swap partner could buy for that is a smaller size? just wondering, not trying to be a problem or anything like that. i just wouldn't know what to get you if i got you as a partner. and i don't want to buy a pack of plain old men's socks. that's no fun!

I love any kind of funky socks (but have a thing lately for sculls and I always love fairies).....though I hate toe socks...as I have fat sausage toes giggles. Though reg. women's socks work for me. I love this kind of swap.

Ok, I wear around a size 9 1/2. I don't care for ankle socks, but will use them if sent. My husband makes fun of me and says I have little monkey toes because they are more like fingers so toe socks will be used if sent :) I also love anything cute!!

I wear a size 10 shoe size so socks in a size 9-10 work for me. Don't send any toe or ankle socks though. I don't really care for those. I would prefer something unique or warm and fuzzy. Socks with funky patterns or silly characters work too!

the reason I asked, is that I'm disabled and do not drive, so I have to get someone to get to a store for these, and we are having a blizzard right now - I may be a bit limited by time constraints. It's not easy finding someone to run to the store anyway, but now with all this snow, it may be even tougher. .......please distribute the lists soon? Mary

If our coordinator doesn't assign or partners, the swap-bot system will assign them for us three days after the sign up day of the swap. I too wished we would have had the name of our partners yesterday because I live in Ohio and at the moment we are having blizzard conditions as well and I am unable to get out to go anywhere. Yesterday was the perfect day to get some shopping done. Here's hoping we will get the names of our partners soon!

I usually contact the person who should be sending to me about two weeks after the mailing deadline if they are in the USA and four weeks if they are outside the USA. I try to contact the person before giving a bad rating, sometimes something has come up. Now these are not requirements but rather just how i do it. Hope that helps answer your question.

it still shows "not sent" in the list, altho the profile is updated to say they went out already - and I've not heard anything back from the person in response to my email.

Even tho this is not the first time this person did not send, according to the comments in their rating, it still hurts a little - this was the very first swap I signed up for. Oh well, I'll wait a couple more days until the two weeks is up.

This was real disappointing - considering the coordinator of this swap is the one I never received... - even tho it says on her profile it was sent the 26th of Feb - and I've gotten no response to my messages either. According to her profile, this is not the first swap she's coordinated and not sent out - and this was my FIRST swap - hopefully I'll have better luck with some of the other swaps, but will avoid any swaps that are coordinated by this person in the future - that's really sad - I just wish she'd answer my messages....
