Dontcha just love happy kids? Nothing better than laughing kids with big smiles on their faces. What to send: Send a postcard that has a picture of a child/children and tell your partners a funny/sweet story about a kid in your life. It can be any kid -- a child, a grandchild, neighbor, student, whatever. For this swap, no fur-kids. :) Names/identifying info about that child not necy. Who can join: Must have at least 4.96. No 1s or 3s in last 9 months. Newbie with full profile welcome. I will ban anyone that concerns me. I will angel if needed, but if you flake, you won't be allowed in my future swaps and I might list you on the "Questionable Swappers" list.

@Lonestarchild - Where I live, it won't be easy to find postcards with kids on them, so is it OK if they're handmade? And should it be a photo, or is an illustration or manga or kid-in-a-comic (eg. Dennis the Menace) in keeping with guidelines?

Also, I would be very interested in hearing the age of the child. Any chance you could include that in the description to remind peopl to consider mentioning it? Some people might not think to. Something done/said by a 3-year-old can seem very different if done by a 12-year-old! Thanks. :)

Lonestarchild - please translate to me: "if you flake" and " I will angel" . Because I recently hosted a swap - fully fullfiled but my partner not. And she doesn't respond to my emails or messages. What means " I will angel?" - I want to learn - that's why I ask - thank you for helping me :)

@mihnea "I will angel" means that if your partner does not send you something after you'd tried to sort it out with them, I will send to you. "If you flake" means if you fail to send yours out. Hope that helps.

@papercaper No handmade for this swap, but I think illustrations are ok. I understand your curiosity about the children, but I think its best to let people disclose the info they are comfortable with. I would think age would be something most people would include.

@Lonestarchild > I wasn't advocating making it a swap condition that people reveal identifying details of children. Good grief! Never. I was just suggesting 'reminding' people to 'consider' mentioning their age if relevant to the story. I agree most would, but it can also be surprising how often people do forget to mention very basic things.
