I like to make swap cards using library card catelog cards. It is a simple craft and if I have room on the card I will usually add a small sticker or a bit of washi tape. Will this be acceptable for this swap?

I like to sew up small pouches using my fabric scraps...acceptable? Love handmade swaps!

thebeholder 02/ 7/2016 #

@theatrefan can you email me an example? [email protected]

@Watsonc7 yes that's acceptable!

Keep in mind that if it's really small like an ATC send more than 1.

Would handmade soap be acceptable for this swap? (Of course only if the receiver doesn't have allergies to the ingredients or a dislike for it.)

Heynowokay 02/ 7/2016 #

I can vouch for @watsonc7 and her pouches, they're awesome!

Handmade soaps or scrubs or lotion is great for this swap as long as you make sure your partner isn't allergic and likes those---just be prepared to have a back up to make incase they are allergic or whatever.

Awww sweet, Heynowokay :)

I've been making mug rugs -- how about a set of (2) matching 6"x9" mug rugs? These are like mini-quilts.

thebeholder 02/ 9/2016 #

@Coriander yes that would be great

How about hand stitched felt paperclip? For example (https://whizkins.com/blog/302/today-039-s-creative-product-handmade-felt-paper-clips/)

thebeholder 02/13/2016 #

@Jess123 no hand made paper clips....I would put those in the category of bookmarks...bookmarks or paper clips aren't allowed for this swap.

Are decorated wooden coasters okay for this? I made some with felt bottoms and either printing or collage on them, usually sealed with plexi. I have other ideas if this doesn't fit, I was just feeling inspired.
