SWL ~ Friendship Bracelet

I can't even count how many friendship bracelets I made as a kid. I loved the colors and the fact that after 45 minutes of work, I had something lovely!

This has always felt like a summer craft to me so let's make one! I have a Pinterest board of Friendship Bracelet Instructions and these were just the ones that appealed to me. You should definitely look at the websites the pins lead back to for tutorials and other designs.

Edited to add: I use this handmade loom in my library programs. I've taught 6 year olds to do it, I've taught 85 year old dementia sufferers to do it. I warn you, it is an incredibly addictive craft because it is so soothing.

That being said, the object here is to make a friendship bracelet. It should be 6-8 inches long. It can be from a loom or from knotting techniques as shown in the tutorials.

This is sender's choice. It's nice to see what colors your partner prefers but it is NOT required.
