Okay, I've signed up. BUT --- I have a question. Can I use the 80-page composition notebook or is this for a 100-page comp book?

Do you write something for each day like what your day was like

@grandmaroro Yes, you can use a 80 page Comp. notebook. @spicemom You can write about your day if you want to. You will journal and fill the pages with whatever you want. The one I did a few years ago, was a mix of journaling my day and other things that I liked and wanted to add.

You don't have to journal everyday. You just have to fill up all the pages in the book by the swap date.

when you say fill up the page does that mean no page showing?

@bluecrayons No, just make sure you have something on each page. This can be writing, doodles, recipes, articles, or anything that you find interesting. I sometimes cover pages with magazine pages that I like.

Is there a size requirement here? I use pocket size journals usually...would that work?

@jandmterry thanks for adding the measurements for the journal. The 80 page composition book is about 8.5 x 6.75 inches. I will NOT use that size. I will use the larger one as specified. I do love Randomness Journals - thanks for hosting this one

I can't find a composition book that is 9.75 x 5. The one I found is 9.75 x 7.5. Is it okay to use that size?

Are we allowed to glue several pages together so there isn't bleeding thru? Like gluing 2-5 pages together ...

@drgngirl That is fine. Use what you can find that is closest to the measurements. @blue crayons-Use a comp. notebook that is close to it. @crystalmarie66713 Yes, you can do that.

Yes, try to fill each side of the page.

I am happy we have so many options for what to put in it. This makes it so much easier bc that's a lot of pages to fill. I like seeing other ppls daily journaling techniques. I'm choosing a comp book with a pic already on the front so I don't have to decorate it. Thanks for hosting!

This is your journal to decorate. Each page must have something on it. The page doesn't have to be completely covered and your partner is NOT adding to it. I would try not to glue too many pages together. It is fine to glue for thickness but don't glue every other page together. Use your own judgement on the amount.

I so would love to do this but am in the middle of planning a move and am afraid I won't have enough time to fill the book completely...wouldn't want to shortchange anyone. Such a fun idea though, will look for it to be hosted again in future!

Ugh, I am going to be down to the wire on this one!! I am having so much trouble doing RANDOM stuff. I still have 7 pages to fill ..sighhh. I do much better with structured stuff.. lol

I know! I love random stuff but doing 200 pages of random was a lot!! But fun though :)

My journal went out today - I was in contact with my partner. Since I have been working on this journal, I have been diagnosed as legally blind by my eye dr. So, my partner has been very patient with me.
