yellow postcards

Got my postcards ready to go.

do the postcards have to be empty so that they can use it or shall we actually also write something on the postcard? When we do a lot of embellishments, can we post the card in an envelope to protect them? lot of questions, but I wanted to make sure - have something in mind...

usually the cards are supposed to be send as postcards! but if yours are embellished a lot and you are not sure if they will make it, just ask your partners what they think.. and yes , write or draw on them (a greeting, a poem, a quote - whatever you like)!!

Is this the first swap of the series? I am just curious since I want to make a colorful rainbow out of them...

@ ruthy: no it started in january - you missed green, red and purple.

Good heavens! You all are so fast! I received my first card today already - from Luv w/stars. Fantastic! I had not seen one like this but you are right, if I had, I would have grabbed it right up. It is perfect for this swap - and a great design all around. I now know from looking at this map that I have traveled less than half of the Oregon Trail on the way to my moms place in Utah. It seemed like the trip too forever. I can barely imagine how horribly long it must have been for those that walked or were riding in a covered wagon. Thanks again for the great card!

~my first time hand made posties ended up being tooooo fluffy, so I put them in envelopes because I thought for sure the post office was going to reject them. I wrote on the back like they were posties tho. Hope you enjoy my first efforts~

I sent off to suefitz (hi again!), ribarnica and Crystal...and the cards are yellow! Fun swap....now off to make blue ones.

I see niecedenise on this list and I did receive a yellow card so I am assuming it is for this swap????
