Story of an introvert

This swap is for anyone who thinks he/she is an introvert, requires, solitude atleast sometimes, finds difficult to interact with new people, etc. It is basically for anyone who wants to share their story/stories about anything related to above points.

I personally find it difficult to start a conversation if I find there may be any kind of differences between me and the opposite person - like thoughts, opinions, habits, etc. May be you have similar experiences, find it difficult to make friends, climb up the ladder in your career because you don’t like small talk, get anxious if there are too many people around or overthink about such things.

This swap is just for all of us to tell eachother our story and to know that we are not the only ones. It would also be great to share if you have any tips or experiences that helped you overcome the fear/anxiety, any book or podcast recommendations or just some motivational or introvert-related quotes.

The email should have atleast 2 small paragraphs telling your stories, experiences, tips (optional) or anything else you would like to share. You do not need to reply to the email you will get from your partner. If you wish to reply, you can message them and ask.

Please don’t judge anyone. Every person is unique and nice in their own way. If your mail contains any text which may be a trigger for someone’s mental health issue, mention so at the start of the email.
