We all have something we're good at crafting - let's swap it! St. Paddy's Day is just around the corner, so the theme this time is seasonally trendy - Green or Shamrocks. What you make can be one or the other or both! The nitty gritties: (1) The item you send should take at least one hour to make. See the above photo for inspiration, but don't let it be your only source! Other great items to make could include: knit items, tote bags, a set of 6 greeting cards... but please, no book marks or ATCs. (2) Since we are making something we are good at, feel free to start making at any time. Or, get inspired after your partner is assigned and profile surprise away! A question was just asked in regards to book marks - one swapper would like to send metal shepards hook style book marks. I belive that this quality of item is acceptable, as long as it takes 1 hour or more to make.

Overall, the general concept is that the craft you create is more than a paper book mark or ATC.

due to the farther time frame on this one - I can join.
We will be settled enough by then for me to see who my partner is & my craft can be started anytime....

About the bookmark. I think the Shepard's hook book marks are very pretty, but I find that they fall out of my books.
If the bookmark maker is my partner, I would hope that they send it on a pretty cardstock weight backer card (like the stores sell them) so that I could display their work.

I am marking this as sent today. -- I have had limited contact with my partner & she agreed on a "no rate" on the swap. - However, I still want to send to her and have tried to reach her about this. It seems she has not logged in in a few days. - I did receive from my sender and rated as soon as I was back here. - Hopefully, I would still like to make good with my partner, so that she is not left out. - thanks
