In this swap you will send FIVE of any of the following type swap bags:

Label Bags

Goodie Bags

Used Stamp Bags

Washi Bags

ATC Bags

Sticker Bags

Postcard Bags

Memo Sheet Bags

Envelope Bags

You MUST know what these swap bags are before joining this swap.

Again, send FIVE of any type bags to your partner. Bags can be all one type, a mixture of five different, or any in between. Bags can be new (Created by you) or established.

Only ONE homer allowed! One homer means there is space for one last signer and the person you are sending it to will have to mail it back to the original owner. You do NOT have to include a homer, but if you do, again, only include ONE.

Please do NOT send bags to your partners that they have already signed. Check thoroughly before sending out!

Must be a rated swapper with at least 10 completed type 2 or type 3 swaps and no unresolved 1s or 3s. Please message me with any questions. If it so happens, I WILL angel this swap.

I have made this a type 3 swap, because it can be more costly to send five postcard bags if you so choose.

If anyone is interested in learning what bags are or questions about swapping them, please feel free to shoot me a message! (I have a few messages asking what they are from last round, I will get to you ASAP!)

I have just 1 Goodie Bag to pass on. Would anyone in the USA like it?

Mitziishere 10/31/2020 #

I wish there was a definition area where I could look these terms up. What exactly are swap bags in the Swapbot community?

KaliOya 11/ 2/2020 #

@Mitziishere I know what you mean. When I first got on Swap-Bot I had no clue either. Luckily, one of the first bag swap I was interested in the host was very kind in explaining everything. And then once I did a few I got the hang of it.

So, I will explain (as best I can) to you:)

"Bags" are collects of anything meant for yourself or for someone else. Bags is in quotes because it does not have to be in a bag. Most are in envelopes that are an appropriate size for the item. To make the "bag" you will want to put on the front of the "bag" who made the bag and who the bag is made for. Most people use address label for the made by/for info. Next put what type of "bag" it is: label bag, memo sheet bag, washi bag etc. You will also need to put the rule of the "bag". If it is a sticker bag, put instructions as to how many to take out, to keep and how many to add and any other instructions. For example: TAKE 3 STICKERS ADD 6 AND ONE OF YOUR ADDRESS LABELS, PLAYER 6 PLEASE SEND HOME. Some swappers like to have you add one of your address labels but this is optional (except for a label bag). How many they take and add is up to the creator of the bag. But it somewhat based on what type of bag it is. For example a notecard bag with have you take 1 and add 2 because after 5 or 6 rounds the notecard bag will be heavy and bulky. But for a used stamp bag you may have them take 6 and add 12. Just make sure the take amount is smaller than the add amount...because the point to to build a collection of the item for the receiver that is more than the bag started with. All this info is usually on the front of the bag. Some people also decorate that bag, but this is optional. On the back of the bag create a place for each person that participates to sign and date. Each signer represents a round or a swap. So think about how many signers you have in terms of how long the bag will take to make it home to the receiver. The more signer/players the more swaps and time it will take to complete and go home to the receiver. Most people do about 5 or 6 players. You might also want to have a place on the back of the bag for passers. These will be swappers that receive the bag and either do not have items to place in the bag or do not want items out of the bag. But having a place for passers is good so as the bag travels along it should not be sent to anyone who has already had the bag. A bag should not go back to the creator, a previous player or passer or to the person that it was made for.

"Homer bags" are ones that have one last spot for a player. So when that last person participates in the bag they are responsible for sending it to the person it was "made for". Most swaps restrict how many homers you can send at one time. Not so much fun to get five homers and have to pay for five to be sent home. Also, that means you may not have any bags for the next round.

LABEL BAGS: are for address labels (so more bags can be made for a person) GOODIE BAGS: are for anything that a crafter might want but does not fit into other categories

Just to explain the types that might not be obvious.

If you need more help please feel free to message me:)

Hope this helps!!!

@Mitziishere Another thing you might want to know is how many items to put into a new bag. This depends some on what type of bag it is. Sticker bags can start with about 6 to 10 stickers. While a notecard or postcard back might start with 4. Label bags will start with as many labels as you intend to have rounds/players.

Again, if you have any questions please feel free to message me:)
