Dollhouse Tag: Sips and Snails and Puppy dog Tails

We’re starting a new swap series here at Vintage Imagery ATC’s. It’s called “Dollhouse Tag”.

The concept is to collect tags shaped like a house, and place them on a ring to form a booklet. And every dollhouse needs a paper doll, so every tag will have a Tim Holtz paper doll too! (If you don’t have any Tim Holtz paper dolls, any paper doll will be perfect.)

Our first Doll House Tag theme is “Snips and Snails and puppy dog tails”, of course this means your paper doll should be a boy or even boys if you like. You will create 1 tag and receive 1 tag in return.

The tag measures 4” x 6”, it will be in the shape of a house, and will have a hole punch at the top.

Each participant will use the same size template. I posted the template on my Flickr page. Please go to my profile page and at the top, click on my Flickr link. Choose to download the file in the "original" size.

You then download and print the template, cut the template out, and trace onto sturdy cardboard to form your doll house tag.

If you open this file in the program, "Paint" and click print, it should print out the perfect size, 4"x6". If I open the file and choose the printer icon, I then choose my paper size as 5"x7" and the template prints out at the proper size. My printer actually requires me to put a 5"x7" piece of paper in the printer feed. You may have to play around with your printer and if this is too annoying I can email or snail mail you a template. Please let me know.
