Winter Festival Scavenger Hunt

My Dear Friends,

I am happy to announce the Scavenger Hunt which we shall play while we await the judges decisions on our Gingerbread creations. I hope you will all join in and add to the fun and anticipation. Mrs. Medlyn has graciously offered to help with this game, which we hope shall amuse you all. The game shall be on the day of the Winter Festival, which is December 7th, the time of the Scavenger Hunt is to be announced nearer the day.

For the swap, we will have one partner, and for that partner we shall create a list of small items from around the home. Any room may be scavenged to find these items, but they should be small, no larger than a lemon. The list shall comprise 30 items and you may type, write or even illustrate your list for your partner if you so choose. Once you have compiled your list, send it to your assigned partner to use on the day of the hunt.

The Details
This swap is an email swap, due to the close proximity to the holidays to ensure everyone receives their list in time to join in the Scavenger Hunt. For this swap, you will compile a list of 30 items from around your home, which are no larger than a lemon. The items on your list may be modern, such as a fountain pen. You can type, handwrite or decorate your list as you like and when you have your list of 30 completed, kindly email it to your assigned partner. On the day of the Scavenger Hunt, at the appointed time of the game, Anna will call out random items. When an item is called that is on your list, mark it as “Found.” The first person to have 10 items on their list marked found, shall win the prize. All are welcome to play, even if you didn’t join the gingerbread competition. Please be aware I have assigned a short sign up date as well as a short send to date. You may begin to compile your list as soon as you join the swap.
