No allergies here. I follow a Celtic/Shaman mixed path. My totem animal is the owl.

CADLady 06/ 5/2007 #

I'm reluctantly entering cronehood (hate the night sweats!) and could really use a little surprise package of witchy goodness.

Thanks, amberscorpio, for setting this one up.

See my profile for ideas, but here's the "witchy stuff": I'm ordained, eclectic, and active locally with several circles of pagan-folk. (Yes, even in South Carolina we can do stuff in public.) I'm a flametender for Brighid and I teach basic spirituality a couple of times a year for a community group. I've been "outta the broomcloset" since I was 40 (yike! that long??) so sometimes I'm lucky and get invited to present at Pride events. (old ladies rule, y'know)

user6281 06/ 5/2007 #

I'm really bad at this introduction stuff, but here's the basics... I'm eclectic pagan, have been for a little over 18 years. There is no one path that I lean on more heavily than others, i just take what makes sense to me and make it mine. I have a 16 yr old daughter who has also chosen to be pagan :) so I'm a proud pagan momma! My only allergies are floral scents. They give me migraines.

scorpiogrrrl 06/ 5/2007 #

I'm new to Paganism, and currently hovering somewhere between my Christian upbringing and Pagan faith. I'm eclectic. No allergies here. I believe my totem animal to be a mountain lion/cougar. I love to read tarot when I've got the time!

user7709 06/ 5/2007 #

I'm happy to see more pagan swaps here. Witchy things are fun!

I am allergic to synthetics commonly found in incense and candles. So please, no incense and no candles (unless they are beeswax candles, yum!)

I don't have a totem animal, but I like ravens, crows, and owls. I'm pretty eclectic spiritually, so I'm equally happy with Celtic stuff, Zen stuff, Asian stuff, or whatever. I especially love the art and color of India and Morocco, so anything that is Arabic themed would be a sure hit.

CuratorHerbrant 06/ 5/2007 #

Almost everything you'd need to know for this swap is already in my profile, so check that out. But just to restate things, please no food or items you'd put on your skin. I'm vegan and my body is very sensitive to new products. I don't have a totem animal but I have two guinea pig familiars who rule!

CajunLady 06/ 5/2007 #

WHOA this is awesome! I can't believe there are so many Pagans here! I'm one myself. Be sure to check out my profile...I've got some of my own witchy/Pagan swaps going! I'm definitly joining!

p.s. if anyone is looking for a Pagan penpal, let me know!!

CajunLady 06/ 5/2007 #

By the way, my familiar is a black cat and a frog. I am Eclectic Wicca, with a leaning toward Kitchen/Cottage Witch. I'm not into rune stones, but I am slowly learning tarot and astology. I've been on this path for a little over 15 years now. Different spells would be nice, maybe a page I can add to my BOS, but no love spells. No allergies here, but I can't stand the smell of cinnamon and vanilla. I really don't need incense...I have close to 1000 sticks of it!!! I no longer follow a specific, named Goddess and I've never followed a named God. (p.s. if anyone follows Hekate, let me know. I have some things I am wanting to trade for!) But I do follow the Goddess. I love full moons. I'm a meat eatter!! I'm honestly not a hugely picky person...I just can't stand the smell of cinnamon or vanilla!!

Phoenyx 06/ 5/2007 #

Thank you for hosting this wonderful swap! I am allergic to cats.. and since I don't think that you will be sending a cat through the mail, I should be fine.

I follow an ecclectic path: "Take what works, fix what's broken, forget the rest."

My totems are The Phoenix (and it's earthly counterpart, The Raven.)

I am a fire/water dual elementalist born under an air sign, earth cusp.

May She Bless you always!
-Phoenyx

LMeowkin 06/ 5/2007 #

Okay, well, I now identify myself as a Christian Witch. I followed a few different paths, and this is the one that fits the best. This year, I was initiated into the Risting Tradition, after a year of classes. Because I am more Christian than pagan, I am not really into goddesses, however I do have an affinity for Gaia (very strange, since I am not a mother, have no nurturing instincts whatsoever, and no desire to ever be a mother!).

My animal totem is a cat. Or cats! I think I'd like a lot of cats on my totem! ;-)

Very interested in Bast (of course). Tarot and other oracle/divination cards have my heart. I can never seem to have enough. Not into runes, although sets seem to come to me all the time (trying to tell me something?). Love pendulums, especially copper ones. Copper is my metal of choice.

I'm also a Scorpio, so I love the element of Water but also love Air, and have some connection to Fire. I suppose Earth is the one I feel most distant from, but there are times I feel a strong connection. I am not an outdoorsy witch! I am interested in kitchen witchery and learning more about herbal magicks.

I do not have any altar tools! Can you believe it? I have been making do with my Wiccan Path cards, but would love some real tools.

I love candle magick. And I want to learn more about moon magick, as I feel quite an affinity for the moon.

My Amazon wishlist will probably give an idea of the things I don't yet have; areas I want to know more about, etc.

So, is that enough? ;-)

gerijones64 06/ 5/2007 #

I'm a 45 yo eclectic pagan who follows her very own path. I'm very feminine oriented but have a deep respect for the male side of my Deity. I need nothing in particular use all natural and very few tools. I'm always looking for healing and protection rituals and spells. I love candles and any aroma therapies. I'm also an avid herbalist. I have an affinity for moonstones, the color pink and the color green. Ilove faries and anything Celtic. Gosh I do talk alot!!! BTW I'm THRILLED to see so many of you. geri

scorpiogrrrl 06/ 6/2007 #

I'm thrilled too! I had no idea there were so many Pagans here, and it's really great to see you all signing up for this swap1

chickenlil7000 06/ 7/2007 #

Me either and I am so excited that there are so very many of us....squeeeee! On to the particulars.... I follow a Celtic tradition and am also a Flametender for Brighid. I have all of my tools and such but incenses and oils are always gushed over. I do love wonderful smelly things. I am very much a kitchen Witch and my dining table is my most frequented altar as those who are close to me know. Just lately I have found myself collecting different tarot decks. I do have a kitty familiar. His name is Gilbert and he says that he will gladly accept 5lbs of fresh tuna on the doorstep as appropriate tribute...lol. Other than that, I absolutely ADORE surprises.

user6532 06/ 8/2007 #

My Name is Mariah, and I am what I like to call a practicing "occultist", I have been researching and investigating the paranormal, the occult and my own spirituality since I was 14 years old. I have never used the term witch to describe myself, but my closest friends have called me that and a few other things as well. I am fluent on most occult religions, and I guess my dream job would be to consult for occult crime or movie making. I have experimented with and mastered several different magical concepts and techniques. And I like to incorporate my art into my practice. At this point in my life I practice my spirituality through the religion IFA, my "Orisha" is Yemanja,(also Known as Yemaya) the deity of the oceans, and wouldn't you know it I am scared to death of the ocean. I am open to just about anything, but honestly I have a cupboard full of herbs and incenses. I don't wear pentacles, or alot of any kind of jewelry for that matter. If I needed to say what I wanted it would be something Halloweeny , Voodooish, or definately DAY OF THE DEAD, or The Virgin of Guadelupe, or Santa Muerta. These are all occult religions that I am familiar with, and totally enjoy the celebrations. I am very happy to see all of these ecletic souls here at Swap Bot, I guess we will need to take over the world one swap at a time!! Muaahhhhh hahahah! Thanks Amberscorpio for setting this up, I think its a great idea, I wish we could have our partners tomorrow!!

user6532 06/ 8/2007 #

Oh my totem animal is the Hawk or Eagle, I am a Leo with cancer rising, I have a handle on all of the elements except earth, and I sure wish I could do better with that since it is the money element lol. Mariah

Clayshaper 06/ 9/2007 #

Oooh, this is an AWESOME swap... (squiggle-bounce!)

I'm an ecclectic pagan (I used to think that sounded weird to say, but so many people use it now!) and I am very active in a non-denominational Pagan 'church'. (www.oloteas.org) I sometimes teach classes there, and have recently taken up teaching a regularly monthly (we meet monthly) 'class' for crafting/reading/storytelling for the kids in the community! Very exciting!

I don't follow a specific god or goddess, though I have strong attachments to the Aztec 'pantheon' as it were, Jaguar, and many of beliefs that have branched out from there. (I blame it on my Native American blood- the tribe I decended from are believed to have decended from Aztecs, sooo... I blame that! (grin)) I also have the occasional 'talk' with some of the voudou loas, though I honestly know very little about it- save that various incarnations of the Baron seem to show up in the few spiritual things in that arena, that I have dabbled in.

I am a gentle, easygoing individual in my spiritual paths, despite connecting to a lot of death or cyclical gods/goddesses, and I have space on my altar also dedicated to older incarnations of Quan Yin... she is a goddess I feel I owe much to! I am not so active in 'working magic' as I am in listening to the things I can learn from various sources, and working on forms of spirituality that are more passive and introspective.

I don't follow any specific path, but I do enjoy divination of many kinds, including tarot, several versions of runic 'stones' and have a strong interest in the Aztec and Mayan astrology wheels as much as the 'american/european' astrology. I do take from Totemic imagery as well- I accept wisdom from all animals, and love to utilize that totemic view in card readings, etc. Animals have a lot to teach us!

I truly love 'unusual' card decks- you'd be surprised what 'works' in a reading (especially done for yourself!) with a non-traditional deck.

I also love gargoyle-like sculpture, especially that which harkens back to animal-human mixes, mythical creatures, or of course, Aztec figures.

We actively Celebrate the Day of the Dead, and my otherhalf does the altar for that each year at OLOTEAS and/or within the community nearby. He is a skilled craftsman when it comes to skulls for that, but we don't have a lot of skill making things other than the painted or sugar-style skulls. So other things are always welcomed, and skulls are always put to good use around that time of the year! >:)

Wow... what else is there to say? Anyone is welcome to message/mail me and poke, if you're interested in talking. :) If you're local, I'd be happy to walk you around an OLOTEAS meet, too- very laid back, very cool...

Oh, I have my ears peirced (currently 10-gauge steel rings, but am working my way up, about to put in one gauge larger since they're way overdue in my 'stretching' schedule/plan.) I'm not super into body modification, but having my ears punched with big-ol-holes was a deeply spiritual thing for me, and someday I would like to wear some nice jade or obsidian plugs or tunnels in them! :) For me, that's a part of being who I am as a pagan. Eh, go figure!

Clayshaper 06/ 9/2007 #

ooh that was long. someone slap me. (smack!)

whatmattersmost 06/11/2007 #

Hmmmm! Well I am new to the Wicca path and still learning. I have many books I read to eventually fully devote my life to the Wiccan ways. Soooo...I dont have a totem animal thingy yet, dont have an altar(but do have a few things to add to it eventually). I guess i would like to receive some herbs, alter items, Goddess(i forget her name but the one that has the hips and boobs lol), tarot cards(mine are old), jewelry, oils-hell...just whatever will get me started!

LadySarah 06/12/2007 #

sniff had been to great if this swap would have been international... :(

scorpiogrrrl 06/14/2007 #

Aww, i'm sorry Lady Sarah. You're welcome to start an international one!

CajunLady 06/17/2007 #

Hello everyone! Mariah here as asked me to send on an invite for any interested people for a private swap. If anyone here is interested, please contact me through swap-bot and I will forward you the invite!

Rapture 06/17/2007 #

I'm also very happy to see so many of us here! I'm an eclectic pagan, but "Green Witch" would describe me pretty well. No god or goddess worship, no totem animal. I do like the spiral goddess though. Lots of other info in my profile.

SharonF 06/17/2007 #

Here I am....smiles

Wickett6029 06/18/2007 #

Hi all...coven-trained, now solitary, eclectic Wiccan, practicing for the past 22 years. I write ritual poetry, and am ordained in my state to perform handfastings :-) I spend most of my spare time volunteering for animal causes, and work alot at the local no-kill shelter.

Liseanne27 06/20/2007 #

Hi all! I have never really declared myself as anything, but pagan religions interest me greatly and I love to read books on being a green witch, I'm very in tune with nature and love animals. I read tarot cards (not as well as my husband, though I seem to have a talent for it). I am empathic to the point I know when changes will happen around me by the feel of everything. If I had a goddess it would be Bridgit, but have not totally found my beliefs yet. I love stones and crystals...and fairies. Obviously, I am an untrained sort-of pagan. :-) Complex, right? But this swap sounds so cool! I'm excited.

Liseanne27 06/20/2007 #

Oh! Forgot to mention, I have most of an alter put together with candles, a crystal, some protective Japanese birds, a Ra statue, and my special Celtic knot stone. I'm missing somethings...

vivica9 06/21/2007 #

Greetings all! I am a practicing solitary eclectic. Although I've been reading up on the Slavic pagan beliefs and I'm starting to lean that way. It started when I began dreaming in Russian. I don't know anyone that speaks it and since I try to take stock in what dreams tell me I'm happy to follow this path until it is time to veer a different direction.
I love crystals and all of the power they hold. I do not have a totem animal and my feline familiar was fatally attacked a few months back so I have not found another hairy little soul to help me.
I am quite fond of Quan Yin and the teachings of the Dali Lama. You can accurately say that I'm all over the board. I am quite tolerant of most people and their beliefs... freedom of speach + freedom of religion + a big mouth = tests of patience for all around. but it's all a lesson I believe. I really do like learning about all things social. I like to hear about peoples beliefs and WHY they believe.

I have no allergies to anything (yet) and my only request is that there be nothing scented of Vanilla (hubby gets sick around the smell).

purple1740 06/23/2007 #

OMG!!! This is so kewl. I just opened up a swap for witchy bags and then I saw this and said to myself this is so kewl. I had no idea this was even here. I would of signed up a while back. I am so excited. And I am a Green Witch for 5 years now. I did belong to a local coven but since I have started to work again I just dont have the time to go anymore. So the internet is my thing. But I have no allergies and love anyting witchy and I have a large assortment that I can swap with my partners. I also have a mini alter that I keep in my mini version cedar chest. So this will be fun and very excited to meet you all. Blessings, Carmen

shecooks 06/24/2007 #

Ok, I'm a solitary pagan and there are a few things you oughta know.

1.) I hate the color yellow. Really, doesn't work for me.

2.) I'm trying to "re-grow" faith after some... traumatic events.

3.) I don't smoke pot, I don't believe in peace, love and happiness. I'm much more of a sex, violence and rock'n'roll person. I'm not a Wiccan and I'm not a Hippie. We all follow our own path in life but that's not mine and please don't think I will appreciate it.

4.) I don't have an altar, I don't have a group, and I don't pray. I don't even like incense.

Now the Positives:

I have two black cats, whom I adore. They are not "familiars" they are family. I love snakes, lizards, frogs, tarantulas. I love jokes at the expense of Christians (I know more about their religion than they do..). And anything to help in my campaign to bring down the arrogant weirdo Pro-lifers who've staked out an ordinary OB/GYN down the street is appreciated. (Bullhorn, anyone??) I volunteer compulsively and travel regularly despite the fact that I am afraid of flying. I'm presently knitting children's scarves for an army base in Colorado. I presently live in New Orleans so if anybody needs/wants some Voodoo stuff, I can stop by the voodoo shop on my way to work. I love jewel tones... dark reds, blues, greens, black, grey, white and I'm trying to get into brown. Any questions, ask, for more info, see profile.

user8565 06/30/2007 #

I am an eclectic/nature/green/kitchen-type, and I love anything to do with rocks, crystals, nature finds, incense(natural scents only, I have some problems with synthetic scents), cool hand-made things, cuttings from heirloom houseplants, neat postcards with nature pics for my altar, foreign coins and sparkly things, bird-related things. If you feel stumped, you can always pm me.

cat 07/23/2007 #

I'm ecclectic Pagan/atheist/semi- spiritualist ... somewhat of a Witch, but not really a Wiccan. Hopefully that makes sense. I collect Tarot decks. I'd love to receive one or more ... I also enjoy other general "new age" items that are not related to a specific relgious path. I believe in faeries and psychic abilities and would also love to receive anything having to do with those things.

user9086 07/24/2007 #

Hi! I'm excited about this. I believe I have a list of things in my profile (I'm on vacation right now, and in an internet cafe.)

Things I'd love: gems, incense in sandalwood, cedar, sage, etc. sort of scents... nothing sweet... bags for stones, runes, etc... things of the like.

I'd rather not have pentacle jewelery or anything cutesy. I'd love something to do with ravens.

Favorite gems: labradorite, moonstone, onyx, amethyst.

See my profile for more ideas. I'll update it before this swap starts. :D

thiswillbegone 07/26/2007 #

Ok.. I was going to hold out on this one, but I can't. I really really can't.

I'm ecelectic, but I tend to lean toward the Native American teachings. There is a special place in my heart for the Greek Goddesses, especially Athena.

I would prefer not to have pentacle jewelry, but Goddess jewelry is just fine (spiral Goddess or Goddess). No allergies here.

My husband has nasal problems, so incense is out for me :(

If you're a really crafty person, I'd love something handmade, Tarot bag, or maybe clay runes?

~~Also, if there's any more interest in a Goddess Doll Swap - check in my profile, I'm hosting one, it'll be a quick and easy swap. :)

thiswillbegone 07/26/2007 #

shoot.. I won't have the money to post anything, so I have to drop :( I'm so sorry :( :( :( Another time?

cerwinrhiannon 07/27/2007 #

I thought I had posted my preferences....I guess not.

Pretty much anything, except tarot cards (unless they're hand made-then YES YES YES!) I collect them and have lots of regular decks.

Twisted03Raven 07/30/2007 #

Oh this sounds really fun! All of my preferences are listed on my profile..... I really cant wait to start something for my partner!

user9936 07/30/2007 #

Too bad, I am new I would of loved it.

Hag53 07/30/2007 #

I'm ecclectic, kind of on the witchy, wiccan side but not mired in any one tradition. I love the Goddess in all her faces, forms and archtypes. I'm in my Crone years and loving it. Suddenly I feel attached to some wilder colors like orange and yellow. I'm an air sign, but also very connected to water. I am more connected to dogs than cats although I have one of each. My connections to totems are owls and ravens. I also love butterflies and dolphins. I adorn every room and altar with Goddess images whether they be paper, clay or fabric or in some cases abstracts! I'm only bothered by strong flower/pine type scents and have no allergies at all. Although I have plenty of room in my house and on my altars for large things but I also love tiny little secret things that I can tuck away into my many pouches, boxes and drawers.

ElizabethObviously 08/ 1/2007 #

okay here info on moi....I am Ecletic/Herditary. My mom and aunt both are Wiccan also. I am into mainly divination, medium work, communications so anything that would help me open up to their side as far as incenses, books it wouldl work awesome. as far as familiars go...hawks,jungle animals..anything that is a strong silent type of animal.

umm..as far as necklaces...they need to be over 18 icnhes long because i am a rather plump person..lol...and no gold...because it would too darn expensive to spend on little ol' me and and it breaks me out.

and i live fairly close to a Wiccan shop....so i plan on going overboard!! I LOVE shopping for this type of stuff

ElizabethObviously 08/ 1/2007 #

Oh also...I collect buddhas!

CajunLady 08/ 1/2007 #

umm when are partners going to be posted?

GoddessOfMyUniverse 08/ 1/2007 #

Hmmmmmmm. I'ma waiting, too. I guess we have to practice a little patience. :)

wickedfaerie 08/ 2/2007 #

hmm. thought i had already posted about me, but maybe not...or i'm just not seeing it. after all, i've been up all night!

anyhow, i'm an eclectic pagan who leans towards druidry and egyptian. my patron goddess is isis. i also love gaia, morgana, brede, and bast. although my focus is on the goddess and her many aspects, i am drawn (at times) to the green man and cerrunos.

my air totem is the raven, earth are cats and wolves, water is the sea otter, and fire is the bearded dragon.

my fave stone is moonstone in any shade, especially the brighter blues. i am also drawn to amethyst and amber.

my familiar is my lovely belle...a siamese kitty.

check out my profile for more info on me and/or contact me.

bb!

sparklebluefaery 08/ 3/2007 #

I generally have an eclectic goddess oriented view towards spirituality. That being said, I do love fairies and have studied Faerie wicca and celtics. I love: fairies/fairy statues/ anything fairy at all, essential oils, amethyst crystals, hematite and azurite. I love jewelry made with any kind of blue or purple gem stones. I suppose my familiar would be my cat. I like unique tarot decks, candles, and candle holders. I like skeletal and skull motifs as well. Peace

cerwinrhiannon 08/19/2007 #

I guess I could also say I'm not into cooking or gardening and that sort of thing.

Leadcrow 08/22/2007 #

Hello! For my partner, just a few things... I love crystals, my animal is the wolf, and I am always a fan of little trinkets with pentacles on them. :D I'm pretty much good with anything!

cerwinrhiannon 08/29/2007 #

I've got mine ready to go. I just have to pack it well, because there is a breakable item in it.

CajunLady 09/ 6/2007 #

I'm still anxiously awaiting a package from my partner!

TryshaH81 10/13/2007 #

I still have not received my package either.
