Firstly thanks to Butterfly for allowing me to host this swap based on her idea for the US only. This swap is for anybody who doesn't live in the US. -US residents should join Butterflys swap - http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/4960 Take a small matchbox, and decorate it in a way your partners would like. Then make mini ATCs to fill the box. You should include as many ATC's as you can fit, with a minimum of 5. You shall have 1 partner, and will send 1 matchbox to that partner. Open to those with ratings over 4.5. Newbies welcome with a complete profile and a quick message to me upon joining. I ban after sign ups to avoid people joining again.

What size matchbox? (I'm good at ATC's, but never did a matchbox before... I have a clue HOW to, of course- but which SIZE? the smaller ones you buy in sets, or the larger ones that people buy one at a time of?) That seems like a silly question, since the bigs ones are probably normal ATC sized... but I thought I better ask, all the same. (blush)

I was going to use a 32 count matchbox (UK size) and make my ATCs 1.25" by 1.75".

I think we do use the smaller matchbox size, as they are supposed to be Mini ATCs...

i have measured my matchbox and it is - 5.5 cm x 4cm x 1cm hope this helps

Um I have a Q :) - in the description it says 2 partners yet in the bold section it only says one - is it 2 or 1? I would like 2 ;)

Mine is close but slightly different at:

5.1cm x 3.5cm x 1.4cm - so tiny!!!

Thats fine sugareyes, I think mine is slightly bigger as I used a template I found on the internet to make mine.

Also I changed the partners at the beginning as people asked me if we could have just one partner instead of two, but I forgot to change it in the description! Silly me!

I made a matchbox, plain black and red so far - I will customize it for my partner. I have made 5 mini-ATC, lots of fun that, and will make a couple more when partners are assigned. First time I have been so far ahead of a swap.
