I am very excited because this is my first swap as a host! So try to go easy on me =D I myself have recently joined Swapbot and started knitting, so I wanted to make a swap that gives newbies and oldies a chance to unite through the power of knitting! With winter on the way, what better way to celebrate than with something with a handmade piece of knitwear!!! Basically, knit something for someone! It can be simple like a scarf or hat, mittens, etc. but something nice and something they can wear. Be sure to look at your partner's page and see what they like, what are their favorite colors, least favorite, etc. You want to make sure it is something they will actually like and wear, not something they will hide in their closet! Anyone is free to join, unless you don't fit the following below! I would like for everyone to recieve something, so please no flakers or ratings below 4.9 unless you are a newbie. I want to make sure newbies have a chance, so try not to be too harsh. And let the knitting begin!

Hi! Great swap but I do want to give you a tip. You should at least add that people who join must have a 4.9 or above. Usually, swaps that require a lot of work or time ar the ones that people get flaked on. =( Great idea, though and I hope it's a success! =)

I suggest you specify the project more. I suggest you have a catagory like any of scarves or hats or mittens and slippers. If one takes the time and money to knit an afghan and receives a small knitted Christmas bell, I don`t think it will be fair. Otherwise, I think it is a lovely idea and I1m am putting it on my watchlist. thanks

well she did say it had to be something to wear, so that kind of does narrow it down! I'll watch this for now and see if you'll be changing the qualifications to join at all. Something this big needs at least some rules about joining!

You should also remove the part about giving hearts. Hosts are not supposed to address when to give or not give hearts. Those are at the discretion of the recipient.

I know the description says "knit", but I crochet faster and prettier :) Is crocheting allowed for this swap if I make something REALLY nice for my partner?
