Twice Upon a Time - a zine & a thing!

For this swap, you will write a mini-zine interpreting the theme of fairy tales however you are inspired. In addition, you should include a handmade accessory or extra item ('thing') that continues the theme of your zine. For example:

• if you have collected a series of book reviews, you could include a fairy tale decorated bookmark
• if you have re-told the story of Snow White, you could include an enchanted hand mirror
• if you have written a Wanted ad for the Gingerbread Man, you could include a gingerbread recipe (or biscuits!)
• if you have written a treatise in defence of the Big Bad Wolf, you could include a cuddly stuffie (or pattern/kit)
• if your zine is a collection of illustrations, you could include an original ATC

These are suggestions only - get creative, and run with it. Include a note to explain the correlation between zine & thing, however obvious it might seem to you!

Swap requirements

• 3 partners = 3 copies of your mini-zine set sent, and 3 different mini-zine sets received.
• Create a mini-zine using a minimum of 1 sheet A4/letter-size paper. It may be larger (up to A6/quarter-size), if you prefer, and binding style is up to you.
• Provide an extra 'thing' which relates in some way to your zine. Include a note (this may be incorporated within the zine) to explain the connection.
• Zines may be handwritten/hand-drawn or typed/word-processed or any other style.
• There is no $ value for the 'thing'. The important factor is creative interpretation.
• Send on time!
• Rate your partners!

I will check through participants' profiles before assigning partners, so if there are any circumstances you feel might count against you, PM me first & I will be happy to take that into consideration.
