Description:

I used to send and received FB's many many years ago, and I didnt realise they were still popular until I joined Swap-bot.

This swap is for those people who would love to start making and sending FB's, but do not have any one to pass them on to, as well as any 'old hand' FB swappers who want to join in.

You will have 2 partners. You will make 1 FB to be returned to each one and then send it to the other partner.

Please try and put a little bit of effort into making the FB's for your partners, read the profile of the person you are making the FB for and see what they like and dislike first. There is plenty of info online about how to make them, but this is not labour intensive and you do not have to laminate and over decorate, just make it pretty and able to handle being swapped around the world.

Please feel free to ask me any questions.

Sooo A makes 2 FB and sends them to B and C. B and C each fill them in and send them back to A. A then swaps the books around and sends them to B and C. At the end of the swap you have 3 names and addresses on your FB No, that's not quite right. Does A not get any book back but gets one from a different partner? So rry if that's confusing but I have a mushy menopausal brain. LOL

I read it as A makes one book for B, and one for C. A then sends the book made for B to C and the book made for C to B so that when they are full they end up being sent to the person there were made for. A will end up with two full FB made for them, one made by B, one made by C.

Sorry, A could end up with two book possibly made by D and E depending on how partners are . Sorry if I've got this wrong. I'm still quite new. :)

I'm still confused. Very confused!

My take is that you simply make a FB for each of your partners. Once they receive them, they send them out and then the last signer, whoever it may be down the line returns it to them.

So, as I understand it, as a member of the swap, your responsibility is to make 2 FBs and send one to each assigned partner.

I want to swap to,but Im not sure if i really understand this right... I make 2 FB, one for b and one for c (Im A) And send this to the other and then...

Ok it sounds like to me you will make 2 FB for each partner one is for them with them as the return and the other is for your return. Make one of each for each partner so you make two for your return and send one to each partner then make one "for" each partner with them as the return address.....If i got this wrong let me know but thats what is sounds like to me....

Im so so sorry, I didnt realise there was some confusion going on.

Okay, you make 2 FBs, 1 for A and 1 for B, you send A's FB to B and B's FB to A. Then A and B send the FBs off to other FB swappers so that the FBs can go out into the world.

I will be doing another swap in a month or so, just for anyone who is sitting with FBs can send them on to other swappers.

Does that make sense, sometimes you think you make sense but the only person who understands it is you. ;-)
