You send 1 postcard to 3 people so you will be sending a total of 3 postcards.

And they may be any type of postcard. Store bought or handmade but no freebie/advertisement type cards.

My favorites are neat, homemade postcards and I love anything with sunflowers or cows/farms. But I would be perfectly happy with a photo of your area just as much!

I definitely prefer homemade cards- collage is great. Or altered- or even good photos if taken by you and made into your own P.C.

i keep reading this group as "postcards are for lovers" rather than "for postcard lovers." i think it's true though, postcards are for lovers.

What now? The sign up date is over and where do I get the addresses from to send the cards? Forgive me if this seems a silly question but I'm new and so excited about this swap that I just can't wait to mail everything. Are we supposed to send the cards in envelopes or naked and stamped?

I am going over the list right now and then I will assign partners. I have been at the doctors all day an haven't been able to get online until now.

You will have 3 partners to which you will send 1 postcard to each partner.

They are to be stamped and sent through the mail - not sent in an envelope. Be sure to write your swapbot name and the name of the swap on the card otherwise your partner will not know who to rate.

I just realized that the deadline is tomorrow, but isn't tomorrow a postal holiday here in the u.s.?

I will maill my postcards tomorrow to akacreativity,aerochik, and akrsouth....I forgot there was no mail going out today.

Mine also is going out tomorrow, I also forgot it was a postal holiday.

Yes it is so mailing them the day after should be perfectly fine.

I changed the date in case anyone had a problem with the date being a holiday (mainly for those who check postmarks - I am not one who does but know of some who do)

To alteredart: When did you send your postcard? It still has not arrived here so I don't know if you sent it recently or if it's lost in the mail. I haven't put any rating yet because I don't know what to do...
