Surely I am not the only collector of interesting free/ad postcards in the world? So many other swaps on Swap-Bot do not include them. This swap goes against the grain! Each participant will have TWO swap partners. You will send ONE free or ad post card to each partner. You can generally collect these from free stands, art galleries, libraries etc. No store bought or handmade cards in this swap please. That spoils the fun of the interesting free cards there are available - for FREE! This is an international swap. Please be aware you may have to pay 'rest of world' postage, even if the card cost nothing. Do include a message if space on the reverse of the card permits. Make sure you include to title of the swap and name at the very least. Feel like receiving something unique? Get on board with this swap! Amendment - in case it was not clear. This swap is to be sent 'naked' and not in an envelope. * June 7.

Great idea... I have to many of those because I just cannot walk by the cute ones but on here and on postcrossing most people don't include them which I can understand but it's so sad for all the great cards in my box!

can someone explain to me what exactly an ad card is? I have these nice postcard things in m,y country I can get for free, but there is information written on the back, is that an ad card? Or does it need to be blank on the other side?

I have a question too. I have some cards that look like a regular postcard on the front but have the name of a restaurant and their logo on the back. Is that an ad card?

@fowlowl and @HoneyBee0201 -Free/ad cards are any cards that are free or used for advertisement. So, yes, the cards you describe qualify as per the swap description. :-)
