Hi there! My name is Angenita. I live in Dordrecht a beautyfull, old city in the Netherlands. Often I play tourist in my hometown. There are many old buildings and lots of art related events and it has an interesting history.

I am married to Edwin. He has an interest in graffity and urban art. He collects handdrawn stickers. If you happen to have a Faust or Sure tagged sticker you don't want anymore, please give it to him and he will love you.

I work at a laboratory, a job I truely love. Sceince and biology facinate me and my job combines those two.

I have 3 cats. I try to keep my swaps furfree, but tape and hair really are atrackted to each other.

When I'm awake and not working you can find me in the kitchen making a new recipe, in my craftroom making something, outside in my garden, at my desk writing to my penpals or somewhere in my city.

I love snailmail. I'm happy with long written letters, short notes, postcards, pretty enveloppes or simple plain ones, handmade or store bought, If it has my address on it and some stamps and it is delivered in my mailbox I will love and treasure it.

I dream of seeing the world. Travel to other countries, stay there for a year or 2, work and live like the locals. I choose to get married, buy a house and get pets, so this will stay a dream. It would be great if you can tell me something about local habits, songs in your native language, maybe a recipe of a local dish, things I must visit if I'm around, a flyer of something you think is interesting.

I post my swaps in a mailbox at the streets. It can happen my sent date and the date on the enveloppe aren't the same becouse of this. Please contact me if you have not received a swap or when a swap doesn't meet description. Give me a chance to make things right before you rate a 3 or 1. It's much appreciated

I've been making things as long as I can remember. As a child there where paper, pencils and glue. I've done pergamano and origami. Made jewellery, my own beads with paper or polymere clay. I know how to sew, cross-stitch and crochet. Now I mostly draw, paint and make collages. I love mixed media art. I'm still learning about how to draw and exploring new styles and techniques. I did discover I feel best with a illustration/cartoon style, cute and whimsey. October 2014 I'm taking an acrylic paint class and I can't wait to see all the different techniques. I use my skills to make atc, postcards, zines, journals and mailart.

I'm easy to please and will love anything you've put your heart in. I love handmade stuff, I apreciate the time and effort that's put into handmade and it often shows something about the maker. Feel free to sent me handmade items that aren't on my like/wishlist. It's an opportunity to learn new things and be inspired. If possible I like real stamps on the enveloppe.

I really like the europese cinema. These movies usual have a smaller budget than Hollywood. Not much special effect, but I like the stories they tell. Just a few titles I remember and liked: Goodbye Lenin - Braking the waves - Dogville - Chocolat - The green butcher

I like James Bond. Guess they are all the same, but that's what I like about them. I enjoy Disney. Like the old cartoons, but like Pixar as well. I know the sound of music by heart and have been to sing along shows as well. I like musicals in general altough I hardly ever go to the theatre to see one.

I read anything that has letters on it, even the milk bottles :) Lately I've been reading some dutch literature. Some I've already read in school, others are new to me but are considered to be dutch classics. I must admit I like them better now than I did in school.

I love to read fantasy. I like being in a world with wizzard, dragons and other creatures for a while. My latest was Games of thrones. I'm still a bit sad the story hasn't ended yet and can't get myself to read an other fantasy novel.

I mostly read in dutch, but I use the english title if there is an english version of the book. My latest reads are:

I don't watch much television, there are so much other things to do. I do like netflix and dvd, watching something at a time that's good for me.

Other television I like: Louis Theroux - DWDD (dutch talkshow) - nature documentary - soccer

I like to try all sorts of tea. Therefor I will not add a like list. I'll be happy to drink your favorite tea or something specific from your country. I do ask to not send me loose tea, unless you wrap it well.

I have no allergies and I like most food. I have a slight preference for the mediterean kitchen, but other kitchens have great dishes too. I don't like brussel sprouts and sauerkraut. I'm not a fan of salmon.

As a child I've never learned to eat fish or seafood. I'm learning to cook with it and I love tuna, mackerel and mussels. I love to hear your suggestions of what to try in this fish adventure.

I believe in healthy eating habits not in healthy food. A meal with too much fat or sugar or few vitamins wont harm me as long as it's not on a daily base. That said, I do try to eat more vegetables on a regular base. I love recipes that give me new ideas on how to prepare them.

I bring a homemade lunch to work. I can't heat my food at work and I can't store it in a fridge. Any ideas for lunches that taste good after half a day at roomtemperature are most welcome.
