11/23/08 A funny thing happened on the way to the post office, and I'm late on a few swaps. But, I don't flake and everything should be caught up tomorrow.
11/24/08 I'm all caught up now, and hopefully the air has deflated from my head. :D

I am originally from Champaign-Urbana, IL, but I currently live in the beautiful state of Montana. Beautiful as it is, I sometimes miss the civilization of more population dense states. I've lived here with my plus-one, Dan (who was born and bred here), for five years. We have five cats (Raul, Maddy, Meg, Max and Jazz) -- they are all long-haired, a dog (Bella, who's a German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix), an African grey parrot (Solomon) and a leopard gecko (Leopard Gecko -- I know, creative hunh?), but no human ankle biters.

By the way, I do a lot of postcard swaps. Please write the exact swap name on postcards. So far, I've been able to narrow down who sent what and for what swap, but it would be much easier if you wrote the full name of the swap (you'll be rated much quicker, too). A lot of people write, "Postcard Swap". Unless the swap is actually called, "Postcard Swap" (as it sometimes is), your card could be from any postcard swap. Also, I will always appreciate a handmade card, but I really have no use for them (they sit in a box for me to admire when I look in that box again, but do not get displayed). The same could be said for cards larger than 4X6 -- I'll keep them forever, but they get tucked in a box.
