My name is Rebecca and I am a 28 year old geek living in the UK.

I love reading, writing, country music, animals, photography, video games, tv, and movies.

My favourite books are 'a Time to Kill' and 'Then there were none' but I love Stephen King, Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, Sylvia Plath, The Help, horror and many many more. My favourite movie is Star Wars Empire Strikes Back but I love all kinds of movies and tv shows from horror to drama. I love Harry Potter, Star Wars, Stranger Things, THE ROOM, The Help, anything Tom Hanks, X Files, Scream, Bates Motel, Hannibal Harry Potter, CSI, Modern Family, American Dad, Man in the High Castle, South Park, The Durrells, A Place to Call Home and many more.

I love stargazing and anything to do with planets/stars.

I love animals and have two rabbits called Bruce and GiGi but my ultimate favourite animals are cats and mice. (Other favourites include monkeys, tigers, lions, any big cat, wolves, foxes, deer, rats, weasels etc).

I LOVE travelling and have just returned from a Switzerland trip, and a European road trip (Holland, Germany, Poland,Czech Republic, Luxembourg and Austria).

In July 2018 I'm on Safari to South Africa so would love some penpals from there. :) I am also returning to Poland with @piratejimbob87 in August for a week.

I have a huge interest in sailing and boating.

I am a massive country music fan - so if you're into country too then "we should be friends"! XD My favourite artists are Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town. Last year I went to Country2Country (a festival where around 9 acts played), and Nashville in Concert (with actors from the show), Miranda Lambert, , Lady Antebellum and Little Big Town and Brandy Clark. This year just C2C so far for one night as saving for holidays :(

Please bear in mind that I try to prepare swaps before the assigned date so I usually mark as sent very early on after assignment. I make my own cards and stuff all the time so I usually have lots already to go with just adding a personal touch to them for my partner. So I may be new but I'm not a flaker

Postmarks/Dates

I use my company's franking machine to send out mail and often I try to frank mail and get it out the same day - but sometimes I'll mark my swap as sent and I won't have a chance to frank the letter until the next day - this mostly happens around Saturday/Sunday where letters will be franked on Monday. If you feel you will mark a 1 or a 3 because of this then please contact me beforehand so I know to wait to ship the letter/packet until after it has been franked, THANKS!

My creative talents:

I love cross stitching and prefer the smaller little mini projects over the larger more detailed ones as I have less time (and patience for those)

I also make my own cards (only just really been doing this for about 9 months or so but I think some I've made have been pretty good. I've recently started working with distress inks and making galaxy pictures).

My favourite brand of stamps and dies are Lawn Fawn.
