*I love Country, Blues, Christian and 80's music. I enjoy Classical sometimes when I am painting so I can concentrate on what it is I am working on rather than singing along.

*I read Fantasy/Supernatural books, "The Morganville Vampire" series is my favorite! Yes I am a middle-aged Twilighter also, and proud of it! I purchase and read the Somerset Studio magazines all the time for inspiration when working on my art. Where the Wild Things Are, The Giving Tree, Runny Babbit, The Giver series. I also own a Kindle and love it, the majority of the books that are on it are either vampire, young adult fiction, self help books on raising a teenage boy, or Christian devotionals.

*I love pretty much all the Marvel comic movies, and as of today I watch "Pitch Perfect" and "Hotel Transylvania" at least once a month, they are both really fun movies to watch and I love the music in both of them. Nightmare Before Christmas, Where the Wild Things Are, Footloose (the original), any of the 80's brat pack movies! Divergent, Baby Mama. I was just introduced to "My Neighbor Totoro" by my daughter and I thought it was a very cute movie but didn't like "Ponyo" at all really. Oh and need I say more than just... "Frozen" Oh my gosh! I don't know what it is about this movie but I LOVE IT!!! Elsa is my favorite, then Christoph, then Anna, oh and I do not like Olaf at all!

*I like a variety of television shows: iZombie, Revolution(ended), Once upon a Time, Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Hart of Dixie, Last Man Standing, Raising Hope(ended), New Girl, Big Bang Theory, The Mindy Project. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (my ultimate favorite!), Angel (second), Nashville, Sleepy Hollow, Bones, Glee, Rising Star(ended now), Leverage(ended), Dads(ended), Felicity(ended), The Goldbergs,Parenthood (third favorite,over 😢), Arrow, The 100, Resurrection, Gowing Up Fisher(ended), Agents of Shield (of course-Marvel), Grimm, Beauty & the Beast(ended), Believe(ended), Firefly (sad it's gone), Ally McBeal(ended). StarCrossed(ended), The Tomorrow People(ended), The Carrie Diaries(ended), United States of Tara (weird but good), Enlisted(ended). Young and Hungry, Lost Girl, Secrets & Lies.
You'd think I weigh about a million pounds sitting watching all these shows but let me tell you, I pace myself.

*I prefer working on mixed media art! I try and create a lot of different things like working in my art journal, canvases and I like to make mini albums also!
I also knit(self-taught thanks to Youtube), and I like to make usable craft decor items.
I also like to repurpose things to be used in unique ways in my home. I love decorating and designing also. I knit and love big soft yarns, bright colored yarns as well as fall colors. I love creating ATC's now!!

• I love to use different mediums and try things I haven't tried before to see if I would like them. The artists I love are Kelly Rae Roberts, Jennibellie, Pam Carriker, Andrea Gomoll, Christy Tomlinson, and that's just to name a few, there are many more out there and would love to meet more of you! I love delusion sprays, stickles, Lumiere paints, acrylic paints more than watercolors. I love rub-ons but have a heck of a time finding any, I love love love washi tape, all kinds of embellishments especially dangly ones. Prima flowers especially the "romantic" ones. Prima anything rocks!! I love different kinds of fibers for mini albums. Scrapbooking papers from Graphic 45 is my favorite! I enjoy shrinky dinks! Owls! Tim Holtz's & Dyan Reaveley stamps but they are kind of pricey. I love Julie Nutting's doll stamps. I have always loved journals, I love collecting unique looking ones from different places. I have a couple different ones from Switzerland but would love some from other far away places!

I am a Christian, married to a very supportive husband who thinks all of my art is good even when I don't think it is. I have two wonderful children and an awesome cat; Frank. My daughter has been married for 3 years now and they have a daughter who's 1 1/2 now. My son is an excellent artist when it comes to drawing and will hopefully have his own comics out soon if he can get over the whole someone is going to steal my characters thing. My favorite # is 12, I love the color black (I know weird huh) although my 3 favorite colors together are red, orange, & yellow. I am obsessed with my Kuerig coffee machine, coffee and coffee shop decor. I love love love cats, when I die and go to heaven you will be able to find me rollin' with the tigers there.
I really enjoy time spent alone working on my art like ATC's, Art Journaling, Canvases, ICAD's, painting and repainting random items. I am trying my hand at pocket letters now, think I am going to like making and sending them. I love to write on homemade paper, the texture makes the writing look awesome! Rice paper is nice also. I spend endless hours just surfing on Pinterest and Instagram is contagious when you have a smart phone and a new granddaughter!
I like jeans from Vanity, tunic tops from Böhme & Maurices. Maxi skirts and dresses with Converse are so comfortable! Thrift stores are the bomb for finding vintage clothing, also antique stores. I could roam around an antique store for hours, I like to think about the stories behind some of the items I find.
I play hidden object games on my iPad and my PC. I love playing games on my Wii, Playstation 2, PSP, DSXL. Boots and Converse are my favorite shoes to wear, besides flip flops in the summer. I love crazy socks, leg warmers, fingerless gloves, and leggings, but I just don't get the cosmic ones, they kinda freak me out, sorry. I like to walk, ski, and bowl, I love everything Jack Skellington (Nightmare Before Christmas). I have loved Mickey Mouse ever since I was little, and Goofy too!
I enjoy watching the 49ers and the cubs, also our local baseball team. If I had to pick a favorite sport to play though, it would probably be tennis or downhill skiing, good exercise and not too difficult for me. I enjoy golf on tv and playing it too. I am not to thrilled with basketball however, unless it's one of my kids playing it. I love to watch the Winter Olympics with my husband.
I have always thought the idea of sky-diving was cool but not sure I could go through with it if I was given the opportunity, that goes with doing something like Survivor also, sounds fun until the opportunity comes along.
I enjoy karaoke and dancing, well on the Wii anyway. I have a wonderful time worshipping in church. Since my daughter is grown and moved out I love to teach art and card making to the younger girls at our church. I love medium roast coffee the best with Chocolate (Torani brand) syrup on top of Redi-whip topping on my coffee. I don't like swearing. I like Studio Ghibli items, they would be wonderful to receive, and anything Kawaii. I don't like the Iowa Hawkeyes even though I live in Iowa, I think it's because everyone else does, I like to be different. I also love to type and ramble as you can tell. Hee hee hee!

Mexican, Italian ,Chilli, Peanut Butter (Jif-reduced fat) Spicy nacho doritos, and m&m's are always my go to snack items. Animal crackers are the best! I like Sour Patch kids(extreme sour), Sour Skittles, Cherry Twizzlers, and dark chocolate espresso beans, dark chocolate! Real Swiss chocolate.

A doily stencil like Christy Tomlinson(YouTube) uses, they are always outta stock! Dylutions Border cling stamps. Planner goodies(just starting on mine). Decorative mini poloroid film. Ink or acrylic prays of any color. Embossing powders. Glossy accents. Fun colored or unique knitting needles. Fun colors of cotton yarn. Kawaii anything!
