Hello, I'm Jen. I'm 26 years old and just recently moved to Seattle from Hawaii. I miss home a lot, but I'm excited to have new adventures here in Washington. I graduated from the University of Hawaii with a Bachelor's in Psychology and hope to get my Master's in Social Work. Although, I do have a dream of one day opening a cookie business. I live in a little 1920s apartment with my boyfriend, Kevin (also a Hawaii local), who is a graphic design/art student. I love to craft, bake, go thrift/vintage shopping, watch Netflix, read, and go out to eat, you know, the usual.

I love music so much. I'm usually always listening to music while I'm doing things. I'm open to any kind; indie, alternative, progressive, rap, ska, 60's, etc. Some of my favorites are The Beatles, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Death Cab for Cutie, The Shins, The Arcade Fire, Modest Mouse, Coheed and Cambria, Brand New, Dance Hall Crashers, The Get Up Kids, Lisa Loeb, Weezer, Taking Back Sunday, Sublime, Rx Bandits, Saves the Day, M.I.A., Minus the Bear, The Sound of Animals Fighting, Iron & Wine and many, many more!

Hmmm, favorite movies...I'm gonna have to say West Side Story, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Royal Tenenbaums, Jaws, Poltergeist, So I Married an Axe Murderer, Planet of the Apes (1968 version), Saved!, Knocked Up, 40 Year Old Virgin, Psycho, just to name a few.

I love The X-Files, Freaks and Geeks, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Flight of the Conchords, Dexter, Twilight Zone, I Love Lucy, Roseanne, Intervention, Reno 911!, The Office, The Golden Girls, The Colbert Report, Community, The Upright Citizens Brigade, Futurama, Lost, and pretty much anything on the Discovery Channel.

I dabble in all sorts of crafts which include knitting, crocheting, embroidery, scrapbooking and sewing. I also love to bake, which I consider a craft. :]
