I'm an avid reader! Historical fiction is my current favourite genre, but I'll usually give any novel a go. My most loved books of all time include To Kill a Mockingbird, The Power of One, and Pride and Prejudice. I cried when I finished the last book in the Divergent series and threw the book across the room.

I like such an eclectic mix of music it's super hard to categorize. I love Indie pop, mainstream rock and I also love country. Weird, huh? Since I'm Australian, my favourite musicians / bands include INXS, The Badloves, and Keith Urban.

I used to be a busy scrapbooker, and my first born has some pretty sweet looking scrapbooks of her baby life. My second born was a little less lucky in that area, as my enthusiasm waned and my time was taken up by other things. I still like to dabble, but more often use my supplies to make cards, or (more likely) I take my supplies to school for my students to use in their crafts.

Speaking of my students, I am a teacher! I love my job. I've been teaching Prep (Kinder) for the past three years, but moved up with my class to Year 1 this year.

I'm an animal lover. Highland cows from the Scottish highlands are my favourite. And anything that has any kind of cows on it is going to be a winner for me! Frogs, butterflies, owls, dogs, foxes... they're all fabulous.

Colour combinations intrigue me, so show me the colours you like together. If you only send me the colour combinations I prefer, I might be stuck in a colour rut forever!

I collect old teacups and saucers from op-shops (thrift shops) and adore the old cups and plates I have from my husband's grandmother's house. Without getting too bogged down in it, I like old, vintage style housewares. But, I also like country styling too.

My family used to live in Indonesia, and part of my heart is still there. Any time I see something from Indonesia, it catches my eye. Batik designs are so pretty and intricate, I love them.
