Hello fellow swappers. I am noticing that my swaps are taking a long time getting to my partners. If you have not received a swap/tag from me in a timely manner. Please contact me before rating. I am willing to resend any of my swaps/tags. When I fulfill my swaps/tags I place my heart into them.

I am 47 years old. A mother of 3 lovely ladies (25,19 and 15.) I also have 3 grown step-sons. I am a proud grandmother of two handsome little boys. Can't tell that I am prejudice, can you? I have 4 cats, they are my furry children. My favorite holiday is halloween but I love to decorate for Christmas. I use a lot of snowmen, santas and angels. Going to a thrift store and yard sales are my fun "me time" thing to do. "One man's trash is another man's treasure".

My favorite color is purple, all shades. I also like teal, burgundy and sage. I can only take yellow and orange in small doses. They have thier place like in Spring themes or Halloween themes. I love flowers and faeries. I collect teapots, angels, elves, faieries and snowmen items. I also collect fat chef items, you should see my kitchen.

I love home made items of any type......they are special in my eyes !!!!!!! To me if someone took the time to make me something, no matter how small, shows thoughtfulness, caring and dedication to thier craft. Those need to be cherished.

My favorite season is fall. Love the colors and smells of fall.

I am big on comedies and children movies like Despicable Me and disney movies like Tangled. I am not big on horror movies but I do like a good movie with a twist ending.

I like watching the old movies about the 80's like "sixteen candles, breakfast club and dream a little dream".

The Grinch is my favorite Christmas movie. I even have a blow up we set in the yard of him.

Love musicals of all types. The Labrynth is a classical. Burlesque was great!

I liked the twilight series, harry potter series, and the lord of the rings series.

I enjoy watching: Dancing With The Stars. I like watching America's Got Talent. Sometimes I watch NCSI. I am not into the reality shows that are games. I love watching the food network.

You could say that I have a strange variety of tastes in music. I love the eras of 1950's, 1980's, and some big band music. I listen to celtic music to relax by. Celtic Thunder and Enya are my favorite celtic sounds. I listen to pop/top 40's also. I am not into rap or heavy metal. I also like movie CD's. Burlesque right now can be found in my van's stereo.

I like to cross stitch. I dabble in scrapbooking. I have started doing postcards and bookmarks. I am willing to dabble in different crafts. If I see something that interests me I will give it a try. I am my worse critic though. I don't knit or crochet, all thumbs. I appreciate that art form, just can not get the hang of it. Lately haven't done much with crafts maybe in the new year I will get the spark back.

*Stickers of all type, although themed ones make me smile the most.

*Holiday socks are fun to me or any type with designs. I don't use knee highs though.

• I like pictures of animals especially ones of dogs and cats.

• Anything purple works.

• I collect teapots. Doesn't necessarily have to be an actual teapot but can be something shaped or looks like a teapot.

• I love angel and fairy items,(Nene Thomas and Amy Brown are my two favorite faerie artist).

• Anything snowmen, I sort of have a collection going of them that I use to decorate during Christmas.

*Anything homemade, I do mean anything...show me your talent.

*I drink herbal teas the flavors I like most are mint, chamomille, peach and cinnamon apple. I also like hot chocolate. The land o lakes flavored hot chocolates are very yummy. I don't do coffee.

*Snacks that I like: Like most women I love chocolate. I don't like white chocolate though. I do dark chocolate in small doses. I like caramel mixed with my chocolate. I like spearmint lifesavers. Dove chocolate is one of my favorites. I eat chocolate with nuts also, so don't worry about allergies to them.I like white cheddar popcorn. Natural almonds. Chocolate covered pretzels. I prefer low salt potatoe chips.

*I like scented items.........nothing too flowery though. In candles I like the apple & cinnamon, pumpkin spice and cranberry. As you can I like the fall scents. I am not big into vanilla.

*craft and scrapbooking items.

*anything having to do with Halloween. Witches have top billing for me. I do like all other holidays but this is my favorite one.

I am not overly girlie but I do like to pamper myself every once and awhile. I like to do my nails, I am into soft tones nothing too bright. I like lotions that smell nice (not too flowery). I do wear jewlery, I like things with color. I have pierced ears. I love brooches of all types. I do wear hair barrettes and hair bands (but not the elastic type). I have short hair these days. Occassionally a nice warm bath is a great way to re-energize.

I wear makeup. I have a tendency to go to colors that are earth tone. I have green eyes so anything that will brighten them up is a plus to me. I wear lipsticks but I don't do the deep/dark colors.

I would like my daughter, Brandy Borchert to be my family member gift swap receiver.

Just like any teen age girl, she likes candy, (mostly the sour things like war heads), loves nail polish of all neon colors, wears jewelry of all types, into bright colored t-shirts and skinny jeans and sweatpants and boys basketball shorts. Her room is neon green and dark purple. Likes stuffed animals. Likes to use mechanical pencils and gel pens. Does not like to read which I am starting to believe is the typical thing for someone her age. Collects keychains and has gotten into collecting postcards. If anyone that I swap with notices the name "ArtTeachToBe" with the same address.......well that is my daughter. She does live at home, she is a college student and old enough to have her own account. She does more of the crafty kind of swaps.

We have had the pleasure of swapping with some of the same swap-bot members. I even had her as one of my partners before, lol. It was a post card swap. I sent it to her thru house mail.
