I am a wife and the mother of three kids that are grown now. I work full-time as a medical transcriptionist. I enjoy crafting, reading, camping and spending time with family and friends. Some of my favorite times are spent crafting with my BFF and/or shopping for craft supplies! I am a member of a card making club that meets monthly to make cards. I am a Christian and believe in God and in my Savior Jesus Christ. Although we all have different beliefs, I believe that we can respect each other and get along with each other.
I enjoy at least a few songs from all music genres, but I would say my favorite is that awesome 80's music!
I love to read. One of my favorite authors is Amy Harmon. If you haven't had a chance to read anything she has written, you are missing out and need to give her books a try!
The only movies I don't enjoy are horror movies; otherwise, I am up for a good movie!
I am a TV junkie! I have favorite shows for every day of the week and love to use my DVR! I usually craft while watching one of my shows!
My favorite craft is card making. I send most of my cards at Christmas and enjoy making and sending Christmas cards. I enjoy crafting and being creative. I like to try new techniques. I have tried bookfolding which I have really enjoyed. It looks harder than it is, although it is time consuming. I also enjoy doing ATC's, inchies, altered Rolos/MemoryDex cards, and tags. Mixed media art and collage fascinate me, but I am still learning the process of letting go of the clean lines and having things "perfect" and just going with the flow and embracing the creative commotion!
Some of my favorite things are dragonflies, butterflies, hummingbirds, ladybugs, bees, flowers, leaves, anything fall, snowflakes, anything winter/Christmas, steampunk, paisley, owls, peacocks, feathers, keys, lighthouses, fairies, gnomes, mushrooms and woodland animals like fox, deer, elk, moose, bear, hedgehogs, etc. I honestly don't have a favorite color and basically like them all equally. I love texture and like to touch things. Needless to say, I don't like signs that say, "Do Not Touch!" I love quotes and words!
I basically have two hobbies ~ crafting and collecting things to craft with. I enjoy collecting everyday ephemera to upcycle/recycle to incorporate into my crafts such as stamps, packaging, junk mail, envelopes, pop cans, material from old clothing, lace, fibers, leather from old belts and purses especially if it has an embossed design, jewelry, watches, and cool tags off of things I have bought ~ I have even bought a shirt because I loved the tag that was on it so much! ;) lol
My favorite season is fall and I wish it would last longer. I just love the crisp fall air and beautiful fall colors, but who doesn't love a fresh snowfall in the winter, a spring rainstorm or a cool breeze on a hot summer day! There is something to enjoy every day!
Although I am a Christian, I would prefer not to receive images of crosses. I do not drink alcohol or coffee and would prefer not to have items with these themes. Also please do not send me crude or inappropriate things.

Although extras can be fun, please don't feel you need to include them to receive a heart. I have so many craft supplies that I will never be able to use them all in my lifetime. I would rather you take the "extra" time working on the swap for me than you taking time to look for "extras" to include with your swap!
I only push the sent button after I have dropped the swap off at the post office or the blue mailbox. If you do not receive a swap marked sent, it is lost in the mail. Please message me if this happens, and I will resend. Also please let me know if one of my swaps ever comes owing postage and I can send you money or postage stamps to cover it. I don't always go inside the post office to have them weigh it because I have a scale and do my best to put adequate postage on, but I have noticed at my own post office different postal workers are stricter and require more postage than others.
I also have two USA only groups here on swap-bot if you would like to check them out to see if they interest you and to see if you meet the qualifications to join. They are:
