About Me I take great care and time for all of my swaps. I always rate when I receive a swap. There are times when I might need to be a day or so late when sending my swap. If that is the case, I will contact the receiver and let them know. I don't think I have ever sent late but just in case, I will let you know. 2/23/2023 - I just had a bone marrow biopsy 2 days ago to find out if I have any residual cancer in my bones. I won’t get the results until next month. Still having chemo as maintenance, monthly. Turns out that I may stay on the chemo indefinitely. It seems to be keeping me alive so I really don’t mind. Never had any issues with it and I usually sleep during the infusion so it is quite relaxing. 😉 we’ll see what happens after I get my biopsy results.

9/3/2022 - I have been on this chemo for 18 months and I have finally reached remission! I still have to continue the chemo for another 6 months for maintenance but I am feeling better. I still have some pain but I just tolerate it. It is part of my existence. For the past 12 years I have dealt with it so it is what it is!

3/10/21 - Another new update: I am going to start some very intense chemo on March 17th. I will try to continue with SB but I am not sure how I will react to this chemo. It will be an 8-9 hour infusion every week for 8 weeks and then taper to every other week. If you don't see me around for a while, you will know that I am just not feeling up to it. Please remember that March is Multiple Myeloma Awareness month.

New update: Please do not feel the need to send extras to me. I rate people on how much effort that they put in to whatever they are making for me. Right now I have so much "stuff" that I don't know how I will ever use it up. I could open my own store! My life expectancy is maybe 2 years tops and I feel sorry for my husband to have to figure out what to do with everything! I am not being negative, I am just being realistic. With my cancer, there is no cure and I am already on borrowed time. Thanks.

I would like to mention a pet peeve of mine with SwapBot. I really dislike it when you review a person and they don't thank you for the review and heart (if given)! I feel that it is common courtesy to thank someone that goes out of their way to rate you. Just saying... 😞

6/1/2020 Please, please, if you are my sending partner, I would really appreciate it if you would not put so much clear tape on the envelope. I don't mind Washi tape. The problem is that I have had so much intensive chemo that I have neuropathy and it is very difficult and sometimes painful trying to open taped envelopes. When I use scissors, I am always afraid that I will cut into your beautiful piece of art. Thanks!

2/22/2020 - My cancer has returned. I always knew it would so it wasn't a big surprise. My doctors want to wait a while before they start treatment. They are afraid that the side effects of chemo would be worse than the cancer at this stage. The day after I returned from the cancer center, I found out that I had a Melanoma and a Dysplastic Nevis. I had the Melanoma removed from my arm on Tuesday and will have the Nevis removed next Tuesday. Due to my particular cancer, I am more likely to get another type of cancer (especially Melanomas). March is Multiple Myeloma Awareness month and our motto is "I am resilient!" I certainly am that! I am living my best life...

I am a cancer patient diagnosed in 2011. I have Multiple Myeloma. There is no cure but I am in remission.

I am a Certified Zentangle teacher and I like to draw and give (and sell) my work. I am also a card maker. My style is usually clean and simple but sometimes, I will get carried away and add layers and embellishments. I also enjoy watercoloring, colored pencils and jewelry making.

I enjoy most crafts have and gotten into ATCs big time! I really enjoy working on little works of art. I am not too particular of what I get, however, I do not have any use for children's themed things and I do not like action heroes and gory things. I do like Tim Holtz style. I would also appreciate it if you would not put too much tape on the back of the envelope. It makes it very difficult for me to open!

I am a Christian but use to be Jewish. Anything faith based is fine.

I also like to sing and I enjoy traditional Christian music, show tunes, new age and classical music.

I am big time into rubber-stamping and die cutting. and I love all colors! I am also an old cat lady. I LOVE CATS! 🐱

I am interested in swapping anything related to card making, ATCs, stamping, die cutting, anything Zentangle (not doodling) including Zentangle Inspired Art. I am serious about my art and I always try to send things on time. I also rate as soon as I get my swap and I would appreciate the same from my partners. If for any reason you have not received something from me on time, please notify me! I have some issues with my memory, but I check Swap-bot almost every day. 2/26/22 - It has been a year since I started back on chemo. I am still on chemo and wondering how much longer I will have to stay on it. Apparently, I am not in remission at this point. I have been getting my treatments locally but still see my specialist at Moffitt Cancer Center every 3 months. I will be seeing him on Feb. 28. I'll keep you informed if there are any changes...
