I love nature as well as traveling and take a zillion pictures of anything that catches my fancy, or that I might use as a reference. I attended art schools in Chicago...and taught art in the Chicagoland area for many years. Now that I am retired I have the free time to paint. I am actively involved in the arts community here in Las Vegas. I paint a variety of things, so my collections are very eclectic. My medium of choice is oil.but I also I work with pencils, pastel/charcoal pencils, ink, paint markers, and acrylic. I currently have paintings hanging in several galleries. I love the desert and all its beauty. Even though my homeland is Wales in Great Britain, and the climate there is nearly opposite of what it is here I feel like I am home in the great southwest.

I can never answer the "what's your favorite color?" question because I love colors of every variety. I am one of those people who likes to have the 94 pack of crayons to select from. Top choices are the secondary colors - orange, all shades of purple and green, especially lately lime green..
