Hi Everyone, My name is Janette - I joined Swap-bot at the beginning of the pandemic, so that I could connect with others. What a great find!
I am a recent empty nester living in Miami, FL. I have 4 kids and they are all away at school, so now it’s just me and DH. Oh wait, I can’t, forget my 2 yorkies “Whiskey” and " Scotch" (my furry loves).
I love reading, writing and all things crafty. I have been doing and enjoying both for a very long time. I really enjoy tea, my favorite is black tea.
I’m high energy and I am always looking for new experiences.
I am hoping to meet interesting people and find a community that shares my interests.
Really excited and looking forward to some great swaps and new friends.
I am very punctual by nature so I send items out on time. If you don’t receive a swap from me, please contact me, I would be happy to resend.
I love to read and I am warming up to audio books. Lately I have been into non fiction, but I enjoy both.
I am always looking for good suggestions. Nothing better than a cup of tea and a good book.
I am really enjoy the full range of paper crafts. I like to cross stitch, even though I probably do not indulge as often as I should these days. I love making handmade envelopes and pocket letters. Really enjoy receiving ephemera that I can add to my projects.
I am a lover of stickers and anything that falls in the "cute" category. Flat stickers are the best, not really a fan of puffy stickers or kids stuff.
Unique postcards are my new thing.
I like anything "girlie" and of course that means any shade of PINK.
I also enjoy bright colors because they cheer me up. Yellow, Orange, Red. Not a fan of blue or green.
My favorite swaps are Halloween and Christmas. Fall is my favorite season for swapping.
ABCs I like and would love to receive
A address label, Autumn
B beach, balloons, bows
