I'm an art student in the United States. I bake in the mornings at a local bakery and work at a yarn shop/artist studio space on the weekends. School fits in between!

Great Expectations, Generation X, Microserfs, Grapes of Wrath, Catcher in the Rye, Doctor Zhivago. I love to read but it's hard to find the time. Douglas Copeland should be my boyfriend. J. D. Salinger should be my other brother. John Steinbeck is almost my Grandma. I also love cookbooks, especially Amy Sedaris' entertaining book from last year. Oh! and Julia Child!

Shawshank Redemption, Rushmore, The Royal Tennambaums, The Graduate, Rainman, Reality Bites, Love Actually, Buffalo 66, both Doctor Zhivagos, Safe Men, Wes Anderson is amazing.

Book Arts, Amigurumi, Crocheting & Knitting, Art Metals, Paper and Textile Projects, Fibre Arts and Sculpture, Spinning, and most recentally plastics.

I love paper, I love house wares. My favorite colours are yellow and pink. I love colour in general, the stranger the combination the better. I love to cook. I love school and I love that I am studying something that I don't really intend to use to make a living. I love epoxy resin. I love art supply stores. I love yarn and fibre. I love green and pink and black together. Coffee. Tea.

The Office, (English first, American second) I didn't have a TV for 5 years so in the last year a whole new world has opened. America's Next Top Model, Sienfeld, Conan O'Brien, and SNL. I should put the TV in the closet, then I would get more reading done. And did I mention the X Files?

I'm not really that into cutsie. I don't like 'mom' jeans. I'm not into herbal tea. I try to stay away from food with zero nutritional value. I don't care for strawberries or bananas. Walnuts hurt my mouth, as does pineapple. I don't care for primary colours.
